Ramo signed a 1 year deal. Calgary has like 9 million tied up in Hiller and Ramo.

Some rumors going around about Winnipeg and Chicago talking a big trade. Crow and Pavelec are names being discussed.

I saw a Jackman to Chicago rumor on Bleacher Report this morning. I wanted to stab myself in the eye.

This would be like when Starks signed with the Bulls.

oh god. no no no no no pavelec. he is the exception to "goalies are replaceable" theory.

i phrased my pavelec post oddly.

with most goalies there isn't a significant difference unless you're lundqvist, rask or rinne. well pavelec is a significant difference in the worst way.

Only way that looks good is if St. Louis signs him and sends him to Wolves.

Trading Crawford to Winnipeg makes no sense, especially for Pavelec, who is terrible (except for the last two weeks of 2015 for some reason).

I knew Denver was going to sign an old defenseman for too much money. I thought it would be Oduya. They picked wrong.

Frolik to the Flames, Kessel to the Penguins, Sekera to the Oilers, Brad Richardson...to...the...Coyotes?

Kessel to Pittsburgh is good/bad. Pitt was a likely spot for Sharp, but now he's likely the top available scoring forward on the market.

Coyotes sign Steve Downie, Zbynek Michalek, and Anders Lindback. Apparently there's a sale on crap.

5 for 21.5 for Frolik?!? Saad should be 10 then.

$4MM a year felt right for Frolik. Calgary had the cap space to go up to 4.3 and close the deal.

Penguins fans think they won the Cup today which will make their annual exit from the playoffs even funnier than years past.

The Jets respond to the loss of Frolik by pulling Alex Burmistrov back from the KHL. The KHL is shedding good players at quite a rate.

Waiting for them to trade for Marc Savard so they can hit the salary floor but still pay their actual players close to league minimum.

Meh. Pens getting Kessel is just the same as bringing back a less assholehish James Neal.

Signing Kessel pretty much locks up the Hart for a healthy Crosby. They're not winning the Cup.

IDK. Crosby always does weird things when he tells the coach who he skates with. Wastes his time with Kunitz a lot.

Source also confirming RW Vladimir Tarasenko has received an offer sheet. 6yrs, $45million from #NHLStars. $7.5mil AAV. #Blues will match.

That's would've been sick to see him on Dallas. Instead he's stuck in the St. Louis shitshow.
