Because the NHL is a total shitshow, the Jackets still have to send a second-round pick to Vancouver to hire a coach Vancouver fired over a year ago and has had to keep paying. I've seen teams in this league do dumb things but this is an all-timer. |

That Mike Keenan went to the KHL to coach nothing but bitchy Russians would be like if SomeGuy became the headmaster of a finishing school. |

I don't think anyone saw them quitting on their coach to start the year. Now they have a coach who's actively an awful fit for this team, as opposed to Todd Richards who was just kinda there. I still think they'll finish ahead of New Jersey. EDIT: funny I say that, now seeing rumors of an Adam Larsson-Cam Atkinson trade in the works. |
