Happened to catch this on Sunday night on Fox Soccer. A lot of things stuck out.

A couple of future coaches on Manu U, Steve Bruce and Mark Hughes...love the hair on Mark Hughes

Warren Barton (Fox Soccer analyst) played for Wimbeldon, no close ups but it looked like he had a great head of hair too.

Some hideous green and yellow kits for Man U. Awful.

A young Giggs and Keane and a great goal from Cantona.

And to top it off, after seeing him in movies, actually saw Vinnie Jones play soccer. What a riot, should have probably gotten a red card in the first few minutes (only got a yellow) then proceeds to basically take out another guy minutes later (a probably worse foul than the first) and gets nothing.

Man U won 3-0

Ah, the Crazy Gang. They were a fun team, but probably not to play against.

I was going to make a post about this. It was fun to watch. The state of that pitch was atrocious. Took me back to the early 90s when I would watch soccer highlights in the afternoon after coming home from grade school on Sportsvision/Sportschannel. Whatever the fuck it was called then. The Vinnie Jones shit was great. The first tackle was a studs up flying ninja kick and the second tackle was a straight knee to the junk. I think Barton was the guy who cleared the almost goal for Man U that Hughes shot.

I love watching old Chelsea matches when they come on. It's always funny to see matches involving players who have become managers or players that are still playing.
