It's been a Herculean struggle for Icelandic athletics since crashing out in the hockey championship game of the Junior Goodwill Games against Team USA in D2: The Mighty Ducks. Julie Gaffney is one helluva goalie (and chef). All that remains in their path is the Republic of Croatia. It could be worse. They could be Jordan playing Uruguay.

Kinda disappointing to learn that Iceland doesn't give a shit about hockey in real life. Norway is well behind Sweden and Finland, with Denmark starting to make a name for itself.
