Don't sleep on the CWC, India hosting 2023. Best way to learn the rules of the game: have money on the matches.

i don't argue that. my point is, i do play and i like discussion about sport. you should know, because you were basically the only person who interacted with me during 2021-22 college basketball season and both tournaments. i had a very good season and you know that. i can remember making big $$ on houston/memphis st./smu. i played some baseball and then decided not to post my plays because no one was interested in talking baseball investments.

world cup and euro at 2 year intervals (in normal times) and i don't follow euro football as i once did, i still follow it enough to feel confident investing in it.

Yeah, I'm interested. I lose track on how you do though because you don't use the "unit" lingo. I could follow it much easier if you did.

Betting individual baseball games is fool's gold. Props are the play. A lot of the degenerates took the Phillies on a flyer after the firing to take Division, Pennant, and WS. It made their entire year. I'm also intrigued with the PropSwap site, though their claims seem overly exaggerated.

I would have been but I live in a state where they don't have online sports betting (although in late January I can bet if I drive the 75 minutes up to Virginia) and still work in an industry where off shore betting would be slightly frowned upon.

Your Bankroll management is interesting. 39% wagered on three games will lead to a large increase or can bankrupt you quickly with a dry spell. I just flat bet. Everything side/total is one unit. If I get bored and try some type of parlay its 1/3 or 1/4 unit. But out of every 100 bets I make, maybe 4 or 5 fall under that category.

I feel as NFL fans, we are pretty honest telling you when the product(aka game) sucks. Only in Soccer do you have dopes ranting and raving about how a 0-0 "draw" was one of the most exciting games of the century.

i'm sure there are others who would do a much better job of managing the bankroll. today, i played ecuador on a firm belief. i realized i was wrong inside of 5 minutes when it was clear ecuador would try to manage a 0-0 draw over 90 mins, going against what catapulted them into a prime position for this match. not many teams in the world can play for a specific result. ecuador and those who played them today, paid a price. not a smart play, considering the 'play for a result' factor.

i believe you asked prior why i played spain. for some reason you got confused or it seemed like you were trying to catch me in 'gotcha moment'. if i remember correctly, spain was -700 and i said i was risking the bankroll. i think the bankroll was $1.6 that day and i played $200 on spain, i believe. risked $1400 to win $200. yes, that doesn't sound like a good risk/reward...but you know that spain is 3 universes ahead of costa rica in quality. i was surprised that holland was only -450 today. i felt the same about that match-up and why i played $500 on holland.

i feel strong about the usa today, we'll see what happens.

The US press conference was fantastic yesterday. Anytime you can ask a soccer coach about the strategic positioning of the Navy’s fifth fleet, you take that chance.

I’m legitimately looking forward to this game.

I can see why someone might not be an MLS fan, or follow any of the various euro leagues.

That said, the underdog ethos underpins essentially the whole American identity. The Revolution, a nation of immigrants, etc.

The Men's World Cup tournament is arguably the last major sporting event, or sport, where the US is a decided underdog against the best teams.

It's fun to root for the underdog, it's even more fun when it's your home country.

WTF. If you score a goal you get your ass up and celebrate even if you have limbs nearly falling off. Who lays there for 10 minutes. That’s why people hate the sport.

Great goal. Now please don't just sit back and try to not get scored on for the next 50 minutes.

As I used to tell my teams when we were leading by a goal in the 3rd period. Teh best defense is more goals!

glad the coach took my advice and benched Zimmerman for this game. The guy is responsible for the blown win vs Wales and tried to give away the England game in the final minutes as well.

you're probably right. I'm just assuming they pile in an empty netter at the end.

I’d guess the US will look competent against Holland but won’t even come close to scoring so it’ll never look like they had a chance to win.

Glad US advanced and Berhalter made some right moves like replacing Zimmerman to start and bringing him in late to win balls in the air. But his reluctance to use Reyna, one of the most talented players on the team is dumbfounding. Pretty sure he can contribute more than Acosta or Wright

the iranians were looking to take shots at the usa and went the BLM route. a late piling on penalty from 2020. coach bullcarter might as well have been gregg popovich. i'd have responded that hundreds of thousands of blacks from sub-sahara africa are standing in line for visas & trying to win visa lotteries. why would they want to come to a nation that hates them? riots prove racism? what about the riots in your nation? ridiculous. i'm sure their media made a big deal that iran was mispronounced...americans are dummies.

i believe the usa has a very good chance. no overmars, no robben on the wings any more. blind? haha. the dutch have underwhelmed for a reason, klaassen is slower than a barge turning in the mississippi. the obvious danger-men are dupay and gakpo. deny them service and they will drift wide, exactly what we want.

with the bankroll at $3.7k, looking at denmark (-200), mexico (-140) and argentina (-225). denmark is the early match, going to play $300 on denmark. after that match, decide on the amounts for the later matches.

not good from denmark. talent, good manager...hard to put your finger on the problem. their CF had a buster tournament. kudos to the aussies, didn't really do anything offensively, took their chance well. defended well enough.

with a $3.1k bankroll...going to press my luck with a below-average mexico. $600 on mexico at -140 and another $300 on argentina at -225.

lots of tension in the last two matches. mexico - too little, too late. what a goal by chavez, over 30+ yards. mexico done in by a super performance by poland GK szcznesny. easily could have been 4-0, 5-0. poland get france next.

anyways, bankroll at $4k. going to play the over in canada x morocco. 2.5 at +120. i also like spain against japan. spain at -250. costa rica x germany, germany at -1000. right.

$300 over canada x morocco and $300 spain.

through the years, you'd think the american fox media brigade would have acquired more and more general wisdom.

alexi with one of the dumbest things i've heard...telling us that lewandowski was brought to barca to 'replace' messi. dumbest statement i've ever heard him make. different positions, totally different skill-sets: lewandowski is battling with holland's depay as barca's #9. messi is a #10.

j.p. is j.p...definitely more comfortable doing atlanta thrashers hockey. there's a pass and there's a cross and that player dialed up long distance. a flick is not a 'move'. "did canada just score there, cobi"???????????

bankroll now at $4.4k. sticking with spain victory for $300 at -250.
