I wonder how much it will hurt ratings that people already have an excuse to drink alcohol in the morning in the fall. |

Get the 2nd US jersey, the blue one. The white regular one sucks. |

In a completely predictable move, Qatar switched at the last minute to not allow any beer sales inside the stadiums (VIP booths excluded of course). What other things will they do now it’s too late for FIFA to do anything about it. Also plenty of rumors the fix is in for the hosts against Ecuador. |

Over under 6 penalty kicks for Qatar, take the over. |

6500 immigrant workers allegedly killed in the construction. Despicable all the way around. But hey, arms sales to that part of the world lets MANY ignore that while counting the money. Or the dull ass Formula 1, LIV golf and now this travesty. |

Interesting. I'm going the opposite. Got Qatar at +238 on wynnbet for an outright win. |

Qatar are the reigning Asian champions from 2019. They beat Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and Japan in that tournament. That’s not really recent anymore, but it’s not nothing. They beat Panama, Honduras, and Nicaragua in friendlies this year. They may not be good, but I’d be surprised if they’re embarrassingly bad at home. |

The other thing to remember in the first match of group play in the World Cup is a lot of conservative play. I'd be more inclined to bet unders. |

They may not be good, but I’d be surprised if they’re embarrassingly bad at home. i would take their nearly 2 dozen intl. matches, just in 2022 - as a huge plus. i don't really rate asian football and one can make the argument that ecuador plays 2 matches x brazil, argentina, uruguay, colombia, chile, peru..etc...etc. and that confederation is arguably the most difficult to qualify to a w.c. i believe you are correct, they won't embarrass themselves, even if they lose 2-0, 3-0. i expect the determination and energy to be there, just thinking they will make a tragic defensive error at one or more points in the match. we'll see. |
