26 years in baseball, longest tenured owner in the game. Plus, all that work Jerry put in, teaching the kids how to throw. Jerry is my guy. Hey, please see the D Wade thread. Just so you know, I could never hate Jerry, the man allowed me to have seats to almost every Jordan home game, many times on the court, most of the time in Row 4, so while some take my criticisim of his business dealings as hate or dislike of him personally, it isn't, it is an honest and fair evaluation of how he does things. Unlike most in the media and politics, the fear of the king did not change my opinion. And if anyone thinks that is not how things are run in the Reinsdorf empire, see Silvy and Carmen's little apologetic trip to the chairmans office, or Jurkos no Sox tickets policy or a few guys who did good jobs, but were not in the Reinsdorf ring kissing line and got let go. |
