Addendum: Taylor Twellman is terrible. He's an unfunny douchebag that always tries to act and sound like a badass. Ian Darke is a suave understated genius. And of course Bob Ley was there to add gravitas and extrapolate additional meaning in Ukraine's victory, given the political situation. |

And of course Bob Ley was there to add gravitas and extrapolate additional meaning in Ukraine's victory, given the political situation. yeah the one and only thing i miss about EPL on ESPN2 is the ian + macca saturday morning matinees. he's awesome... there's a reason he was one of the "big 4" football commentators in the UK. he's the goods. whereas i love ray hudson and he's a phenomenon in his own right, as an actual announcer he's nowhere near the class/level of ian. also, US team. i can give a fuck about the US team, but i know they're gonna get rolled. but then again isn't ukraine ranked #15 in the world per fifa? highest ranked team not in the WC finals this summer? so yeah this result was kind of predictable.... and it just goes to show that that friendly win this summer over, what was it..... germany/italy/whatever? yeah it was a friendly. and so was this.... but still, when you've got a ukraine team pissed off and stressed about their situation and likely bitter they're not going to brazil this summer.... yeah, THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS, LARRY... * golf club to corvette windshield * |

oh and jack wilshere's got a hairline fracture in his foot.... 6 weeks. GO FUCKING FIGURE. i guess this is par for the course for jack wilshere, so at least he gets some respite from his perpetual bouts with his #1 nemesis: gravity |

He gets injured every year doesn't he? Least it's not one of those 6 month things like usual. He'll be nice and fresh for England to crash out in the group stages. |
