The Fire open the MLS season tomorrow night with a road game in LA only available on some Univision spinoff. Quintissential MLS! The Fire sport 3 DPs this year in (hohoho) Scottish/Malaysian Sean Maloney, Nigerian Kennedy Igboananike, and Ghanian David Accam. Sounds like a winner. Also they passed a new CBA so all you people worried the season would be in jeapordy can rest easier.

The hype is strong for Orlando vs NYCFC on Sunday. Kaka and David Villa debuts.

Anyone that has Directv and wants to watch the Fire match in English. Go to channel 455. That has English commentary on it.

I knew there was hype, but damn I was shocked at the size of that crowd. Also, Altidore just setting us all up for the inevitable National team let-down.

MLS putting the hammer down with 3 yellow cards for simulation in the Orlando-NY match.

Fire seem worse than an expansion team, again.

Well not in the MLS thread, no. No one's talking about Palace's resurgence under Alan Pardew either.

yeah but the point is you're not gonna talk about it in any thread. i even made you guys a little europa league thread so you could avoid that shitacular euroseason thread but alas, my olive branches are extended for naught....

ah well, hey, even after today i reckon 2nd place is still possible, right? you guys DID beat city and brenton wouldn't lie to us now would he? see you after the break. btw how much do you have to get walcott? he'd be a nice lil replacement for sterling wouldn't he?

They did look a bit better against San Jose, but what a disappointment the Yallop era has been. Sure you could argue with all the draws last year that they were in most every game, but damn what a boring team to watch they've become.

Hopefully, they will be better when Magee and Nyarko get back.
