He did. I think that case is still pending. A couple that Hernandez ripped off is suing Bebe and Mike. Somebody posted that here about a year or so ago.

They may have well been partners. But I suspect there's a "chinese wall" between the investment company and the entities they invest in, including Webio.

People who I'd expect to go after North are the investors. His cronies... well, maybe. How many of them have the where with all to pursue a case? Now, how long might any carry a grudge, and might any of them be in the position someday to deliver a setback to North?

The only reason he might not, is his Lawyer tells him not to while he is still under investigation. Remember I said he MIGHT not.

My favorite part about the whole thing is that Hernandez's biography (accessible from google at the time) on his site said that he had a law degree from "The John Marshall Law School of DePaul University" Those are two completely separate law schools. If Mike were even smart enough to hire the worst lawyer in Chicago for 1/6 of an hour, that lawyer would know that they are separate law schools and that David Hernandez is a fraud. The same North who flushes hundreds of thousands on real estate, tens of thousands on Vegas trips, and who felt secure enough to turn down $700K+ per was too cheap to hire an attorney to look into the guy he was hitching his future to.
