Fantastic. Derrick Rose is a good player.

It doesn't excuse missing shots to obtain your own rebound and keep shooting the ball when we're up by 12 with 10 seconds in the game left.

I'm not certain he was missing shots on purpose for that... well... purpose.

Triple double aside (heh), it wasn't that great a game for D Rose, 7-20 shooting from the floor.

Rose registered 10 assists pretty quickly thanks to Korver starting off 6-8 on 3's. and those were mostly hand offs or short perimeter passes and then Korver just nailing shots over the Grizzlies defense left and right. Rose finished with 12 assists, but it wasn't like he was Steve Nash creating shots for Korver and Deng, they were just on fire (thankfully, or the Bulls would not have won).

Rose's only offensive rebounds were the 2 at the end when he missed a little 4 foot shot and then immediately cut to where he knew the rebound would hit and then put back his own miss. And then for whatever reason, up by 12 with less than a full shot clock left and Memphis backing off and not fouling, someone on the Bulls jacked up a shot with ~6 seconds left which Rose tracked down the miss for his triple double. Bulls didn't need to shoot and Rose probably didn't need to exert himself going for the rebound. But it was cool that he got the tree-dub.
