I have to admit that I have found the fall of Mike North to be absolutely fascinating. Perhaps its the devil in me but there is something just as interesting in watching someone fall as it is watching someone succeed.

First he says gays have no business adopting kids.

Next, he chides Elton for trying to adopt some Ukrainian kid when "we have kids in this country who need a decent place to live." He then goes on to say that we need to make it easier to adopt kids in the US.

Leaving aside the fact that Elton John is British and doesn't even live in the United States, if you are against gay adoption why in the hell would you want to make it easier?

He also fails to point out that John's attempt to adopt in the Ukraine was nixed precisely because he's gay.

This goes back to when Mike actually had a job, he use to equate homosexuals with pedophiles, therefore, gay people raping little kids. That right there is his logic.

Back in the day when I went to a lot of Score remotes, I remember how North would stick around after the remote show was over for hours moving from table to table talking with fans & buying them drinks. I never saw him treat anyone badly. Again, this was 10 years ago.

Mike North and Be were very nice to me and my whole family about 12 years ago. Posing for pictures with my wife and kids even my mother-in-law. I bumped in to Mike at a wake about 2 years ago. He was still very cordial. I like the guy but the CSFMB is right. He keeps trying to revive a career that went south the day he left the SCORE.

it will be interesting to see how the north saga plays out. we do know he bought real estate in vegas at the height of the boom and he owns lakefront property in park ridge that he overpaid for as well. i would think he is taking a bath on the holding costs of his real estate. wouldn't be surprised if he sells his park ridge house and moves into one of his vegas properties. he could park cars at the stardust and bee could sling cocktails, oh wait she is a former agent and COO, she should be able to get a six figure job in the corporate world.
