On the high end, you've cut 5 sodas or roughly 700 daily calories from your diet so this is good!

Now, the next step is go to 2 a day, then 1....

After a Sunday of eating pizza and a lovely Spicy Chicken Habenero sandwich from Domino's (again, they should advertise this as much as their new and improved? pizza), I went to the gym on Monday to lift, and yesterday to do cardio as well as a little lifting....got on the scale this morning and I was 215.6...I am really loving this.

And I'm also happy to report that I'm becoming less manbooby (I went to school with a guy named Les Manbooby), and ever so slightly more muscle-ee....I have on a merino wool sweater and I like how it looks, although I still have a good 4 1/2 months of working out to go....it just feels good to see some results.

Yeah, I'm down a good 8 or so lbs since the new year last I checked on Sunday.
Also, i think I figured out what's wrong with my treadmill. Replacement parts have been ordered. We'll see if I have a future in Treadmill repair if this whole Avaya thing doesn't work out.

I did one summer growing up, but while I got used to the taste of diet, I never got to the point that many of you are describing where regular pop tasted disgusting.

I'm thinking next time I go out, I'll do diet pop in my mixers...baby steps...

Shots are alright, but if I'm spending significant time at the bar, I need a drink in my hands...

you're gonna notice that if you keep running, you can get away with a lot more. and if you keep it moderate, you will never have to cut out the fatty stuff completely.

As much as I'm looking forward to my trip this weekend, I'm not looking forward to what it's going to do to my program...pop shouldn't be a problem and I should get plenty of exercise walking around Seattle, but eating healthy will likely be my downfall...

Just make better choices. Seafood should be easy to find. Stay away from deep fried shit.

I have apparently hit a plateau in my weight loss efforts. Haven't lost anything the past week. Very disappointing. :(

Yeah, I guess I gotta change my running routine a bit....maybe add some sprints or something. That won't be fun.

What does your program look like now? Just 'easy runs' 5-6 times a week?
