I listened to practically the entire show. What you might call meatball, I call cathartic. They are good guys who love what they do and appreciate the chance to do it. I wouldn't want it every day but there should always be a place for these guys. They put a nice capper on the season. It was a little sad to hear them sign off.

Didn't they leave for that shitfest Webio before ultimately returning to their home?

I believe the Score cut them, they signed with webio and then the Score brought them back. Anyway, it sounds like they have to provide their own sponsors and justify their existence on a yearly basis, which is rough. There are at least 3 and sometimes more post game shows to choose from. They provide something different than the others.

I listened to most of the show and they did a good job. Other score hosts would learn from their inteaction with callers.

It is an honor and a pleasure to listen to them.

I listened to them while watching the Steeler game. I followed it up listening to Hood.

Can I just say again that I think Hood is a fantatstic host and deserves a regular prime time slot in this city.

Hood is disliked on this board but by himself,I think he does a fine job. OK for the nighttime slot.

My dislike for Hood is directly proportional to the amount of time he is paired with Huebner.

Be careful. They played the game so therefore they are meatballs.

Here's hoping their show continues for years to come.

Did you hear the show yesterday?

Both Doug and OB said anyone questioning Cutler's toughness was an idiot.

That's why I love the postgame show.

I would trade Holmes for Hood straight up.

I'm a huge J Hood fan. He & Goff would be a great team on the Score.

I concur, insomuchas after a loss they're appointment radio when they wholesale distribute DA FIRE AND DA PASHIN for DA BELOVED!

I actually found this last show a bit of a hard listen, cuz this game was like a giant monumental cocktease. I personally drew the ire of the CSFMB poster of the year in the chat because I was conceding defeat to my Packers friends during the drive that would put the Packers up 14-0, however, akin to the first GB game on MNF the Packers never put the Bears away. Sure enough, despite the ubiquitous presence of one Tim Jennings, the Bears got real stout real quick and the defense didn't even allow as much as a field goal attempt (in fact, neither team had a FG attempt... how rare is that?) for the rest of the game, the only Packers points were the result of the BJ Raji pick-6 early in the 4th quarter.

In that respect, it was a bit errrrghhh to hear OB and Doug harp on a defense that only gave up 14 points to THE VAUNTED HIGH FLYING LEAGUE-FRIGHTENING DIVINELY-LED 2010 PACKERS OFFENSE, but I suppose if they managed to not give up any points on defense it certainly would have helped the cause.

All in all, this team entertained me up until the last 37 seconds of the season, and for that I am grateful. Sure, you want to hold your team to a "championship standard" and anything short of SB victory is semantically a failure, however, championships aren't everything. More than any other sport, Baseball has taught me that it's all about the ride... it's all about the entertainment borne of escapism, and even though I know sports are a tribalism-borne tool used to emasculate males like myself and take our money for the privledge to become walking billboards for a corporation, in the end what it comes down to is the timeless question posed in Gladiator: "are you not entertained?"

Indeed, I was. For that, I thank the Chicago football Bears and all of the tangential media members who have provided me with countless hours of entertainment throughout the season. That said, White Sox notwithstanding, I look forward to my ritual of Doug and OB on Sundays come football season. So long and thanks for all the fish!
