The two captains will be selected via the integer game as previously reported. I'll also take everyone with two strikes and evenly distribute them (as they are likely to get DQd and I'd like to keep the teams as even as possible.) From there, the teams will be created based upon a previously submitted metric (e.g., second and third digit of zip code.) I'll then be taking each existing team and alternating assignment to the new teams based on this metric.

So for example, if we used that second and third digit zip metric, Team Aromashodu would look like this:
25 - Krazy Ivan
31 - Don Tiny
75 - jimmypasta
94 - terry's peeps
95 - JORR
So Team A would get KI, jimmy, and JORR while team B would get DT and TP. Then when we split up the Anti-ISOPians, the first would go to team B, the next to team A and so on with all remaining teams/players.

This should give you guys a chance to create some new alliances before we abandon teams altogether.


I'm not going to hand over and idol by telling you exactly what to look for or how to find it. Finding one is a challenge of its own. I'll tell you that the two available idol phrases are not spelled out in the first letters of any posts in this thread, nor are there any hidden with white text on spreadsheets -- those were just examples of how they might be hidden, but there are many different ways to hide things. They aren't impossible to find though; one was already found, and several people were on the right track to finding that one. If nobody finds them in a week or so, I'll give some more hints as to how to find them. I'll save you some time and tell you the Hasenpfeffer Incorporated is not the beginning of a clue -- I was just looking to name the option and couldn't come up with anything decent.

I also promise I am not handing out idols to my "favorites." I'll reveal the locations of all the hidden idols at the end of the game. The one that was played by jimmy is still out there --- granted it can't be claimed now, but it can still be found.

And the 8th challenge has come to an end. There were several good selections with every non-goalie scoring at least one goal or assist. The big difference here was in who was selected to be a double point producer. Team Burrito (Terry's Peep's team) went with Ovechkin -- always a threat to score in any game. He got one in the net and assisted on another one, but only had two shots on goal. Team Mustachio - by cracky - (RFDC's team) went with Eric Staal, captain of one of the teams. Staal contributed with two goals without an assist, but had a game leading 8 shots on goal. Staal bested Ovechkin by 12 Survivor points, and Team Mustachio - by cracky - was able to best Team Burrito in the remaining areas by two Survivor points. The first two team challenge goes to Team Mustachio - by cracky -!!

Challenge #9!

Since you'll be snowed in on Tuesday, I highly suggest stocking up on some beverages and snacks on Monday. We'll have nothing to do but watch the snowflakes fall and prepare for another elimination. Let's focus on two Big Ten basketball games -- #12 Purdue takes on #17 Wisconsin up north, while #20 Illinois hosts a revenge match against Penn State. The Pur/Wisc game tips at 6pm, while the PSU/Illini game is scheduled to start at 8pm.

How about another fantasy team match-up? This time, we'll make the scoring easy. 3 points for each three point shot made, 2 points for each rebound, and 1 point for each point scored in the game. You have a $100 cap to spend. You must spend this on at least five players and at most seven. You must have at least one player from each team on your squad. The players eligible are listed below -- no other players are eligible in this contest.

TB#2 - Winner of Pur/Wisc
TB#3 - Assists by Illini in game

Team Mustachio - by cracky - earned an advantage by winning last time. Each advantage will increase your total points by a number within a specific range. Before the challenge begins, but after the entry has been submitted, I will PM team captain RFDC with the methodology that will be used to determine the number within the range. At no point will I disclose which option was taken, I will only disclose the number of points that are added to the total. This number will not be made publicly available until the end of this challenge.

• Option A: Straight up points. If your team chooses this option, your point total will be increased within a range of 1 to 3 points. Your team will also be responsible for shoveling/snowblowing my driveway and sidewalk.
• Option B: Double secret immunity. If your team chooses this option, you must submit a team member from both Team Mustachio - by cracky - and Team Burrito. The submitted member of the losing team will have a double secret immunity going into the voting period. Nobody will ever be informed of this unless the individual gains the highest number of votes and would be voted out. If that is the case, I will announce they have earned double secret immunity, and they will be safe for this challenge's voting period. In addition, Team Mustachio - by cracky - will have their point total increased within a range of 2 to 5 points.
• Option C: Risk it to get the biscuit. If your team chooses this option and loses, RFDC will be kicked out as captain. The captain will be reassigned according to rules that I will tell RFDC before the challenge begins. If the team loses, I will explain the methodology to the new captain. I will announce that the captainship has been transferred, but will not comment whether it was due to this or a normal captainship transference. Choose this option and your point total will be increased within a range of 3 to 7 points.

Captains, you must submit your entries by 5pm on Tuesday. If Team Mustachio - by cracky - does not submit an advantage option with their entry (or if they fail to submit an entry), it will default to Option A.
