The George Stephanopoulos-looking Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com mentioned this near the end of his weekly hit with Mac & Spiegs on The SCORE yesterday. The fear is that Jay Cutler may reach a point where he will go far off into the sunset and leave the NFL a lot sooner than people would like. Then what? Cutler's supposed to be the first Bears' franchise QB in our lifetime and someone is supposed to fill this team's biggest hole since Sid Luckman long before I was even born!

Oh No! This would be horrifying! It has taken him 5 years to "continue to develop" his QB rating from 88.5 to 88.1 to 86.0 to 76.8 to 86.3! Thats the kind of development you can really hang your hat on! Remember he has all the "tools!" He is one of the "top young QB's in the league!" He has lots of "potential!" He's a "good young talent" with a "high ceiling" and "great arm strength"! He is the "best QB the Bears ever had!"
