Will Rose play tonight or is he taking the night off due to pain in his bleeding stomach while galavanting around hollywood in his back to the future life preserver vest?

Roy Hibbert gets an assist for slapping that out to Deng.

I can't believe this team is this good and they're going to get better in a month when they get Noah back, and maybe even a trade deadline 2 guard. Some guy on B&B made a pretty good case for Rip Hamilton to the Bulls--mostly based on keeping Hamilton away from Boston or some other Eastern conference team (do they really want him?).

OJ Mayo-- geterdun.

Yeah, I agree that the Bulls should stay away from Hamilton. He's owed something like $30 mil over the next 2.5 seasons. Yuck. WTG Dumars.

Even tho he's a PG and not a SG, Chauncey Billups is a guy the Bulls might consider if the Nuggets ever decide to pull the trigger on breaking up that team this season.

Billups overall numbers aren't anything spectacular, but he's money at the FT line, hits the 3 @ 40% regularly and has a metric fukton of playoff experience.

Chances are you'd slide Rose over to a Kobe/Michael/D-Wade style 2 guard with Billups in the game, but come playoff time, Billups might just be what the Bulls need, especially late in games. I don't recall Rip Hamilton doing much late in games for the Pistons when they ran off something like 6 straight Eastern Conference finals or better appearances. Billups seemed to be the go to guy in the 4th quarter for those teams, either hitting key 3's or driving and getting to the FT line, and drilling his FT's.

And Billups contract is pretty easily to swallow, esp compared to Rip Hamilton's. Chauncey's owed about $5 mil for this season can be bought out of next season for something like $3 mil (or re-signed for $14 mil).

Both the Heat and Hawks have expressed interest in bringing in Billups this season; Atlanta keeps trying to re-create the 2004 Pistons team that beat the Lakers in the Finals.

Experience at the guard position is something that the Bulls could use, and could help D Rose in the long run, even if Billups is only a Bull for half a season + playoffs.

taj rolled his ankle real good. he was literally writhing on the floor in pain.... let's hope it's a SMALL SLIGHT TEAR, AKA SPRAIN, as opposed to bad ligament damage.... sure the basketball loss isn't the end of the world, but i reckon he was a very tradeable asset in the quest for a 2/star/etc

Taj Gibson's bro just told me he's fine. X-rays negative. Mild ankle sprain.

Oh no. Please don't join the Heat... that could be a problem for America.

Bad weekend for Jim O'Brien. He gets the Loss. He gets tossed. And he got fired today.
