Wow, what a fucked up movie - made more strange by the fact that my 16 year old daughter could be the love child of the two tonsil hockey dancers. ....which further creeped me out.

I really liked it, but as Zack said, you kinda saw everything coming, but I thought Aronofsky did a great job.
Portman can get her speech ready...

Her pictures are on my Facebook and she's in dance. She's seen the friction movie twice with her dance troop friends, who strike me as black swan types. Jim Carrey's SNL skit is even funnier now.

WZ, I have seen all of DAs flicks except The Fountain, with Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weitz. She nauseates me. Is that movie any good?

i know, grid, i've seen the pics. i'm saying don't tell her that.

i wouldn't recommend you watch "the fountain". even i found it meandering and pointless at times.

I loaded it in my Netflix instant cue, but it doesn't seem dark enough compared to DA's other flicks.

Whenever I need a good chuckle I watch the documentary style snippet on crystal meth in The Salton Sea on Netflix.

I hardly call this movie "predictable". I didn't know exactly for sure what was real and what was in Nina's mind -- until the ending.
I knew the movie would be dark and it was easy to understand that Nina would change -- but that doesn't mean I was totally able to decipher reality from figments of her imagination.

Yes, Aronofsky does a great job showing "crazy" spinning out of control in all of his movies. Black Swan had just a touch of David Lynch mixed in as well, which did give me a few "wtf is going on moments". But for the most part it was predictable. Kunis was great in the small parts she had and was jaw-dropping-amazingly beautiful.
