Guys on my team, feel free to PM your thoughts on what option we should take and which players we should select. If you would rather contact me via email let me know and I will PM you my email address.

I will now tally the votes for the Team Burrito vote off.

The first vote is for Ed from Lisle. The second vote is from Ed from Lisle as well. Third vote is for Gloopan Kuratz. Fourth vote is for Gloopan Kuratz. Two to two. Fifth vote is for Ed from Lisle. Sixth vote is for Gloopan Kuratz. Three to three. Seventh vote, Ed from Lisle. Vote #8 is also Ed from Lisle which means Ed, you're headed back to Lisle. There was an additional vote for Ed from Lisle and one vote was missing. This vote is from rogers park bryan, who has picked up his third strike and is now DQed from the game.

Team Burrito goes from a one player advantage to a one player deficit. Although it would be hard to count rogers park bryan as a player since I can't tell that he actually did anything. :) Ed from Lisle may be a victim of his low notoriety around these parts, but perhaps he offended members of the burrito party. In any event, two have been eliminated.

It recently occurred to me that the games in the challenge tomorrow may be postponed due to some sort of snow that is supposed to be falling in the Midwest. If either game is postponed to Wednesday, we'll move the challenge date back to Wednesday at 5pm. Remember captains that you can submit entries as often as you like -- I'll just use the most recent one sent prior to the cutoff date.

Good luck to the remaining players! See you in thread tomorrow (hopefully!)

I would like to hear some of what went on once everything is over... from people that participated! Or SHARK.

I can only gather so much from this perspective -- it is interesting, but certainly not like watching the show.

email would probably be the best since the PM system here sucks balls and is a pain in the ass to use when PMing multiple people.

I'll look at the challenge tomorrow as well and offer up some thoughts.

Etwaun Moore should only have 19 pts. Not that it affects the outcome but it makes my OCD feel better :)

Challenge #10

In this challenge, we'll be focusing on the world of golf. Each individual player should submit three golfers. You will get one point for each birdie, and two points for each eagle scored by these players on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We will not count any playoff holes. For those that don't follow golf, there is a cut performed after the second day of a tournament to trim the field. You may want to wait until after the Thursday rounds are finished to improve your chance of having a golfer active on Saturday and Sunday. However, all submissions are due by Friday at 9 AM. CSFMBSurvivor@gmail.com.

The twist? You will get a 7 point bonus for each unique golfer submitted. It must be unique amongst all entries, including your own team. Your golfers must play on Friday to earn any points in this contest.

The team with the highest average score will win immunity this week. Also, the player from the losing team that has the highest score will gain a non-transferable individual immunity for this week.

I'll go tally the votes.

The first vote is for Terry's Peeps. Vote #2 is for conns7901. Vote #3 is for Terry's Peeps. The fourth votes is for conns7901 which ties the voting. The fifth vote is for Hawg Ass. Vote #6 is for conns7901. The seventh vote is for Gloopan. There are no remaining votes. Conns7901 has been voted out of the game. He led The Anti-ISOPians admirably, but couldn't survive the round of two teams. Thanks for playing, you were a great participant.

Krazy Ivan decided to sleep in (or maybe his power was out or something else...) and did not vote. He picks up his second strike on this snowiest of days.

Remaining players, don't forget to submit your golfers by 9 AM Friday! Good night and good luck.

I'll extend the deadline to 2PM central which should let you see a good portion of the remaining first round, and then we'll see what they do from there. Anybody can change picks up until 2PM central.

My sources tell me they will be starting the 2nd round immediately after the first They may be in a position where they won't let everyone that makes the cut play in rounds 3 and 4 just so they can get them in. If this happens and your player makes the cut but is not allowed to continue play, I'll give your golfer points equivalent to what they averaged for rounds 1 and 2. So let's take Player X:

Rd 1: 3 birdies, 1 eagle
Rd 2: 2 birdies
Makes cut, did not finish

In that instance, you would get 2 points for the round 2 score, and then 3.5 for round 3 and 3.5 for round 4.

Of course if your golfer misses the cut, you won't get any points for round 3 and 4.

Here are the entries for Challenge #10. jimmypasta did not submit an entry and earns his second strike.

https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key ... utput=html

Of the entries, douchebag, Gloopan, and IMU all submitted three unique golfers, so they are defacto in the lead until I get the 2nd round updated. Shakes, T-Bone, and Terry's Peeps went the opposite way and took some more common names that were duplicated by other entries.

I haven't seen yet what the PGA plan is for dealing with the weather -- hopefully it gets better by tomorrow so they can actually get started early in the morning. I'll bump the thread with updates as I hear about them.

Edit: So the story is that they are going to finish the second round on Saturday, do the third on Sunday, and the final round on Monday. So we'll vote someone off on Tuesday... it will give us a little more post Superbowl decompression time.

His birthname was Brian Burrito but he changed it to avoid confusion.

Updated through round #2 of play:

https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key ... utput=html

Burrito with a slight lead averaging 25.71 to Mustachio - by cracky average of 22 flat. I've indicated players that did not make the cut in a dark gray. Boyd and JORR both got a little unlucky with two of their three missing the cut. Overall, Mustachio - by cracky had 3 miss the cut while Burrito had 5.

Updated through yesterday's finished rounds. I did not add any partial fourth rounds stats to the spreadsheet. At this moment, Burrito has about a 6 point advantage of Mustachio - by cracky - which looks like it will probably be enough to capture the victory barring any real heroic feats.
