The Bulls are nearly 3 months into the regular season and have still not lost a divisional game. :salut:

Divisional lead is now 13 games, and they are only a half game behind Miami for the 2nd spot.

There's not many deals this year. I'll keep my eye out for something.

I did a little looking on Stub Hub. We could probably get a block of seats for somewhere in the $25ish/each range. Shall I start a thread?

Sure, but try to make it in the future a bit. I'm unable to commit to anything extremely soon and I'd like a little bit more time...to kind of make sure I'm making more money.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. There are not many games in February anyway because of the All Star Break and long road trip. it would have to be a March or April game, and on a weekday (weekends are more pricey).

Yeah, cool then. Make a thread. I'm a lock if it's in a couple months.

Let me put some dates and pricing together, and I'll try to get a thread started later today.

Yes, Bulls are without Noah, but they are getting decent production out of the center position.

I think Friday's game with Orlando is a huge litmus test for the Bulls.

-Pistons beat Orlando on the road last night

-Bulls will have three days off before the game / Magic will be at the Pacers on Wed.

-Bulls last lost at home to Magic by 30 and generally don't match up well.

-Orlando probably represents the Bulls biggest obstacle to the #3 seed.

Not make or break, but I think Friday's game is huge for the psyche of the team.

Depending on what day of the week the game is I'd be down for a game.

That 2nd spot is very important for the Bulls to make a run at. First of all, it gives you Philly, Indiana, Charlotte, or some other garbage in the first round. Secondly, it gives you home court in the second round wich would probably be against Miami or Boston.

Probably won't happen, but it would be funny if the Heat drop to #4 setting up a Celts/Heat | Bulls/Magic conf. semifinals . . . then have the Heat win and the Bulls have home court in the conf. finals.

I believe the Bulls need to play both the Heat and the Celtics to prepare them for the NBA Finals. That experience will be very important. Rose has played for a title 7 out of the last 9 years but he still hasn't done what it takes to win a playoff series. I believe the Bulls can win the East but if they want to win in the Finals they need those tough battles.

Boozer just injured his knee on a flagrant foul by Kwame Brown.

Uh oh.

They're saying it's an ankle injury. I focused on the knee until I heard that. After looking at the ankle on replay it looked like he twisted it pretty bad.

As long as it's not broken, that's good news.

Wait for the MRI. So far so good. I still believe that the drop off with Taj isn't that big and the Bulls could still win in the playoffs with him. Of course the bench would be thin but I believe Kurt Thomas has enough left to give them 10 or 15 good minutes off the bench.

Actually, sometimes a really bad sprain is worse than a broken ankle. I've heard that said before. I'm talking about a really bad sprain. They have a few grades. I think the high ankle sprain is worse than the lower ankle sprain too.

Either way, he'll be back for the playoffs. Rose can go 15-5 without him. Although his absence might cost us the 1 seed. That would suck.

Bulls actually clinched a playoff spot last night. Have an 18 1/2 game lead in the division.

Hopefully Boozer's injury is not very severe and he only misses a handful of games. It looked pretty bad when it happened, but at least it doesn't look like a season ending thing.

Panther, Boozer still gives you the threat of inside scoring / post play, even on nights when he isn't at his best. He wasn't brought in for defense, and although he isn't too good at it, the Bulls have excellent help defense and it doesn't end up hurting the Bulls most of the time.

For the past several years, intelligent Bulls fans have been asking for consistent inside scoring...an offensive PF who can help get shooters open.

Why would you get rid of that? Derrick Rose is improved over last year, sure...but the Bulls owe a lot to Boozer. He hasn't played in all the games, but is a presence when he does.

I agree.

Boozer officially out for tonight's game, Deng is questionable with a bruised vagina.

The Rasual Butler era begins tonight. It's a good thing we traded away JJ for nothing....
