Two indefensible things, both in the first quarter.
To begin with, the telestrator. Supposedly something he is so great at. He reviews a place where Derrick Rose clearly push offs his man to cut across the lane...receive a pass and tear drop one in. Stacey King is describing it...and seems SURPRISED by what happened. He then chooses to IGNORE the entire push by Rose...and describes the play differently than we are watching it on TV. Neil Funk stays silent..."wow."
Fast-forward to the end of the first quarter. Taj Gibson grabs an offensive rebound and puts it back in. But wait, basket is waived...loose ball foul. Stacey King saw nothing. Replayed twice...Neil Funk has to point out to Stacey King that Taj Gibson pushes Batum out of the way...Stacey King then says that it shouldnt be a foul because Batum isn't strong enough and should get in the weight room. Neil Funk even starts agreeing. They said there was significant contact but it should'nt called. Why? Because it was against the Bulls. How is that not a foul?
Fuck you Stacey King. Your jive talk works with your target demographic maybe...keeps you hip with the west side ballers, but intelligent sports fans don't want this crap. We want an analyst that knows what he is talking about, and isn't wearing Rose colored glasses

uh... is this news? he has done this kind of stuff nearly every play his entire career. thats why hes great. every homer broadcaster does this. santo. hawk. any citys homer caller. just watch other home games broadcasts. of any city, the homer guy never seems to see blatant fouls by their guys. stacey always makes me feel good about the bulls. it makes my life less stressful.
