I think you can put monster's up there with lujack, johnny b and steve and gary. The score has a more limited audience, but they had a huge impact on the chicago radio landscape.
On one hand eric is a pitiful man. On the other hand, I probably would sell out my manhood for the million plus he has been pulling down for more than a decade for only having to work four estrogen filled hours per day.
Can't put monsters up that high. North had an impact, there is no doubt, but it's even hard for me to give him credit for being an entertainment clown. Sure, he took risks that others wouldn't, but he did so because it didnt matter to him. His style, or idiocy, was new and he did say things to athletes that nobody who didnt want to lose a job would do.
North could have been paired with any long time media stiff. Coppock, Bruce Wolf, etc and I feel the outcome would be the same. They would gather attention because of North and they would have some credit due to the other guy with him.
This was never the plan! It was to be Jiggs and Bruce Wolf, but Wolf backed out and North got a shot.
