I love reading a national perspective bashing Salisbury. Here's a good one snipped from "Chuck Klosterman's America: Life After Halftime":

Sean Salisbury: If you discount the print-media buffoons (Jay Mariotti, Skip Bayless, et al) who go on TV with the express intent of destroying whatever credibility the newspaper industry once had, Salisbury is the least cogent, most wrongheaded voice in the sports media. He's an atrocity. Yet this broadcast lunacy has saved his gridiron legacy. Salisbury's career-passer rating was a dismal 55.1 and he never had one decent season, but in retrospect that production looks amazing. It seems impossible, but it's true: Sean Salisbury was better as a player. Which is just about the craziest sentence I've ever written.

He also provided some commentary for other color broadcasters, check out the link:

The funniest part of this duplicate post Zack is that you posted a comment in the other thread on this very Klosterman quote. =)

At least you're consistent in your distaste for Salisbury. It would have been worse if you were flip-flopping in Seannycakes-like fashion.

It's nice to know that everybody sees through this loud mouth, ignorant, defensive, insecure ass hole.

Salisbury just said Bob Sanders is pound for pound the best defensive player in the league. Again, where was this Sanders love before. IF he is going to go by a player's weight, then Sanders is listed at 206 lbs and Champ Bailey is listed at 192 lbs. If I remember correctly for most of the regular season Sean was drooling over Champ Bailey. Im sure its this football talk that fascinates Don Shula.

Flavor of the month for Salisbury. He had Romo in the Hall after his 2nd game. then he criticized media for praising him when he did poorly. If the Colts weren't in the playoffs he wouldn't be saying that about Sanders. But there are two teams left so he has to make up bull shit with one of the two teams.

LOL! I just started a thread about this. You even made the same point on Sanders' weight verses Bailey's weight! Hilarious! What a fucking retard Salisbury is. Funny, Sean, how is it that this guy is the greatest thing since sliced bread, yet you haven't so much as mentioned his name all season long?
