Not always, but it was kept up to date at least since the four teams...

Anyway, picks are in and up here:

I updated the standings through the Columbus, Detroit, Jersey, Islander, and Atlanta game.

Here's the top three currently:
jackref 27.5
Hank Scorpio 27.5
shakes 24.5

https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key ... utput=html

As for the duration, I had hoped to get this in before I went on my spring training trip, but I think it will probably go past that point by a bit. I'm guessing around this time in March it will be over. I don't want to bleed into the ISOP's March Madness tournament. :)

It looks like you missed my bonus for having Nash as one of the 3stars Newp. Unless you're just not updating the bonuses till later on in which case carry on.

I'm no mathmetician, but I think I just won myself an immunity idol thanks to Rick Nash.

You are correct... I've updated for the final.

View the link on the previous page to the document to see the detail. Here's the summary of results:

Code:
jackref          38.0
shakes           38.0
immessedup       36.5
Hank Scorpio     35.5
T-Bone           33.0
doug ep          33.0
Krazy Ivan       30.5
Gloopan          30.0
sjboyd           29.5
JORR             28.5
Douchebag        22.5
hawg ass         22.5
Terry's Peeps    21.0

Finally we have a tie in one of these things... we go to the tiebreakers to resolve. The first tiebreaker was winner of the Chicago/Dallas game and shakes picked Dallas while jackref had the Hawks. That means shakes has earned immunity for this vote. Everyone else must vote by Saturday @ 7pm. Hidden idols need to be played by 9pm. Sunday's challenge will be up tomorrow morning. Good night and good luck!

I gave you Columbus credit for the Colorado game and caught in on edit -- I've just republished the webpage. Sorry for the confusion, but let me know if I screwed something else up -- I think I've double checked the contenders, but you know how those IPAs are :drunken: :)

Since we keep having challenges for fake sports, is Sunday's challenge a TNA PPV challenge?

Kurt Angle over JJ
Mr. Kennedy over Skinny Hardy
etc....

:D

Challenge #13
Challenge #13 will be a multisport challenge. Your task will be to rank these groups in golf, NCAA basketball, NBA, and NHL. You'll be ranking them by final score for each player/team. You can sort them either from low to high, or high to low, and you don't need to specify which order you have them in. You'll gain points based upon the longest string that you have. For example, let's say I ranked these 8 MLB teams... I'll put the hypothetical runs they scored next to them.

Chicago White Sox 7
NY Yankees 11
Boston 8
Philadelphia 5
Kansas City 4
Detroit 4
Colorado 6
Florida 2

So in that scenario, the longest string of correctly ordered teams (ties go in your favor) would be the string from Boston to Detroit. You would get four points for the baseball category. Note that you would get the same amount if you had these teams listed in the opposite order. You have to rank each of these groups of eight separately; you can't get cute and combine a golfer in the hockey section. I'll add up each of your four group totals for a grand total, and then add any bonus points. The highest point total will win immunity in the next challenge. The highest three point totals will gain an advantage in the next challenge.

Your entries are due by 2:00 Central to CSFMBSurvivor@gmail.com. You can earn 1.5 bonus points by submitting the winner of the Juventus/Inter Milan match along with your entry. You can earn 1 bonus point by submitting who will finish first between Blind Luck and Always A Princess. You can earn 0.5 bonus point by submitting the winner of RVD vs Matt Hardy. You will gain an extra 0.01 bonus point for misspelling RVD or Matt Hardy.

TB1: Winner of Wizards @ Cavaliers
TB2: More points: Nolan Smith, Kemba Walker, or Derrick Williams
TB3: Better finish: Hunter Mahan or Nick Watney
TB4: Total goals in Kings/Flyers game

Dude, I was just huffing paint thinner...drinking it would turn my digestive tract into raw sewage. I saw that episode of 1000 Ways to Die.

Yes, tomorrow... sorry I didn't spell that one out! If you submitted one earlier, as always, you can modify it before 2pm tomorrow.

There hasn't always been an advantage for winning the most recent Immunity, but I'll give you a negative strike if it makes you feel better.

I'll go tally the votes.

First vote is for T-Bone. The second vote in is for immessedup17. The third vote is also for IMU. The fourth vote is for T-Bone and ties up the voting. The next vote is for T-Bone, followed by one more vote for T-Bone. The seventh vote is for T-Bone. The eighth vote is for IMU. This puts T-Bone with five and IMU with three. The ninth vote is for T-Bone. The tenth vote is cast for IMU. There are no ballots remaining.

T-Bone led the Scorehead Monkeys to some great victories, but also had a few down moments. His time as a Shirley Temple seemed to go well; not a single player voted for him at that point. Once we got to the individual vote, unfortunately, T-Bone didn't have the allies to get him through. T-Bone is eliminated in the thirteenth position and will be the #1 alternate to serve on the jury.

As I said earlier, there were missing votes. In particular, three players did not vote. One of these players was Gloopan Kuratz. He earned his third strike and is now disqualified from the game. Gloopan's road was an interesting one... he seemed to take the first six or seven challenges off, and only recently began playing. But the two strikes he earned earlier left him in a precarious situation, and he was unable to hang on through the remainder of the contest. Since DQ'd players are not eligible to be on the jury, we will turn to our alternates. The first alternate is T-Bone, and he will serve as the first member of the jury.

This one is a little more confusing than the others, so maybe this example will help. You just rank them from who you think will score the most to who you think will score the least.

So you could put ...

UConn
Duke
Penn State
Miami (FL)
Iowa
Providence
Northwestern
Minnesota

...if you thought UConn would score the most points, Duke the second most, PSU the third, etc. Just do that for the four different groups. Then you'll get points based on the most that you have in the correct order... so if they finished

UConn 83
Duke 81
Penn State 66
Miami (FL) 71
Iowa 69
Providence 69
Northwestern 55
Minnesota 49

You would get five points because the biggest chain that you have in order is the Miami - Minnesota chain. You don't have to guess the number of points or anything, just put them in order from best to worst.
