My point is they're so bad, it's accumulating awful noise which is impossible.

I fast forwarded through most of the night on DVR (I can only take so much Bieber and Gaga) - but I did see "Ready to Start" by Arcade Fire. Sounded pretty damn good to me.....whcih is rare because a lot of time "rock" doesn't seem to come through on those award shows as well as the Gaga and "country" stuff. That's strange......

If you're complaining about AF being on there I hope you cut your own ears off and ate them every single time a Lady Antebellum or a Miranda whatever was on....

Those people that have never heard of Arcade Fire may want to broaden their musical horizons a bit. They just sold out three straight nights at UIC Pavillion....

I think Arcade Fire was invented specifically for the movie The Wizard.

I'm with RPB - I like Vampire Weekend a lot better when they tour under the name Ra Ra Riot.

I'm not much into new music, so I usually don't watch this show. For some reason, last night I did, and for the most part, I enjoyed it. (Big exception, Lady Gag me)

In looking thru the complete list of over 100 winners (most not shown on tv), it was nice to be able to complete the following partial scorecard:

Jeff Beck 2
Buddy Guy 1
Iron Maiden 1
Them Crooked Vultures 1
Jon Stewart 1
Lewis Black 1
Justin Bieber 0

I was happy to see Arcade Fire, The Black Keys and Ray LaMontagne pull down some trophies.
Even though I don't listen to his stuff I was glad to see Eminem pull in a few as well as he
appears to have his life a little bit better in order. I totally forgot it was on so I didn't watch
it, but sounds like I made a decent choice.

Most of the live performances were "meh" that I saw - but I also like Norah/Mayer/Mr. Kidman's version "Jolene". That was really good.

I read that they only broadcasted 10 awards. Aren't the Grammy's on for 3 or 4 hours? What the hell filled the rest of the time?

To be fair, Miranda something is kind of hot.

The picture I found wasn't the best option, but I'm at work and the filter is a little higher than when I'm at home.

I just can't get past that forehead. I mean, I'd obviously bang her, but just not hot to me

She needs to get the hair fixed a little...it can hide the forehead at that point.

random thoughts:
Lady Gaga's song Born This Way sounded a lot like Respect Yourself by Madonna...
She's has a crazy good voice. Katy Perry wasn't very good at all. Pop music is very "disco" right now.
Mumford and Sons was surprising.
Drake is lame.
Didn't see Arcade Fire or Muse.
Really liked Cee Lo's performance.

Dylan singing Maggie's Farm was cringeworthy. What the hell was he doing?
Just a terrible way to see a legend.

It's not like they just pulled him out of his living room where he had been firmly planted for the past 5 years either. He still tours quite a bit.

I fell asleep towards the end. I missed Jagger & Bawbwa. Did they do anything worthwhile?
Overall,it was very smart to have more performances then awards. Seems like a lot of awards were off camera. Glad to see Bieber lose "best new Performer" to some obscure group. Also happy to see Album of the year go to another obscure group. Popular music today seems to be one giant disco suck fest. Lady Gaga has some catchy tunes, but it's just all disco shit.
Also,Will Smith should take his ugly kids and just go away. Everytime I see that family,I just want to puke. That little bitchy kid has an attitude too. Born with the silver spoon up his ass and giving attitude....FUCK HIM!

(woke up in time to watch the Auto Show. That was fun.)

C'mon, guys like Usher & Bieber can't figure out it's about the quality of the music. It's not about the latest dance moves.

Don't get me wrong, their music sucks. I'm referring more to the taking shots at ugly rich kids.
