This sounds cool. Especially the Redemption Island.

The 22nd season of Survivor introduces a new concept, "Redemption Island", to the United States series based in part to the "Outcast" tribe from Survivor: Pearl Islands, and already used in foreign versions of the show, as The Island of the Dead in the Israeli version, Isla Purgatoryo in the Philippine version's second season, Ghost Island in the Serbian version's second season, and the duels in the 2002 Swedish edition. When a contestant is voted off their tribe, instead of leaving the game, they are taken to the area known as Redemption Island. There, they will have to sustain themselves in the same manner as when they were with their tribe, living on limited food and water supplies and shelter. When the next contestant is voted off, they are also sent to Redemption Island, and the two people will face off in a duel challenge. The winner remains in the game, living at Redemption Island, while the loser is finally removed from the game. At pre-determined points in the game, the person at Redemption Island will have a chance to return to the game and be reunited with the remaining players in the game.[4]
Host Jeff Probst compared Redemption Island to the Pearl Islands's Outcast tribe, stating that the latter concept did not seem to work well with the audience because the Outcast twist was not revealed to the players ahead of time, and was considered unfair to the remaining players in the game. With Redemption Island, the players will be told at the start of the game of the existence and rules of Redemption Island, and Probst will expect this to have an impact on how the tribes will vote out members.[4] Entertainment Weekly's Dalton Ross speculates that due to the Redemption Island duel as part of each episode, all regular challenges in the show will be combined Reward/Immunity challenges until the tribes have been merged

Never heard of it, but if it was any good, the contestants would've probably made names for themselves.

That's a good looking bunch, especially the guy in the front with the blue shirt and brillo pad chest.

I'm getting really fired up for this! Can't wait to see it tonight. Hopefully the game is formated in such a way to insure that Russel and Rob stick around a very long time.

I'll be tuning in, looking forward to a little refresh on the format. Hopefully it
stays interesting and some worthy competitors come to the forefront.

Those tuning in better enjoy host Jeff Probst now. Jeff's contract expires at the end of this season, and with Regis Philbin retiring as host of "Live with Regis & Kelly", the buzz in New York is that Probst could be in line to succeed Regis alongside Kelly Ripa this fall.

Those are just silly. Almost as silly as Phillip looks in his saggy drawers.

What happened there was pretty fascinating. Me likey.

I love the "I'm a formor Federal agent" guy's ego. It's very impressive. I hate him.

I believe he was a federal agent. I also believe he wasn't one for long. I think he was fired and more than likley has a criminal reccord. I, like he claims, am a good judge of human behavior. He's unstable and dangerous.

I laughed myself silly watching this early this morning. Phillip is quite a weirdo.
That chick played her hand way too early like Rob mentioned when he registered
his vote. I loved how he took the Idol and asked if she was lying. Almost too good
to be true 1st episode.

Matt takes the knife in the back at tribal council. Blondie didn't look happy. Watch out Rob...

And in this week's installment of "Phillip is nuts", Phillip compared himself to a gorilla.

yeah Natalie is good stuff.

Russell and the country boy is going to be fun I think. I got a feeling Russell gets taken out before Boston Rob on this season.
