Granted it turned into a Panther attention thread but it was fun while it lasted!

There is not reason to believe it won't shape shift itself into another thread and pick up right where it left off.

Oh yeah, there is no way all of that crap is over - it will probably take lace over several threads now.

A bunch of stuff.

IMU claimed that stock could not be exchanged for cash.
Boyd is an asshole.

A bunch of stuff.

Pruned.

  If anything it just confirmed what a lot of people thought about NSJ and Panther. And Jay Cutler still rules!

Various people were verbally sparing with an attempted overthrow of IS0p leadership.....repeat for 27 pages.

-NSJ was taking fire from several directions (seemingly justified)
-Camps was taking on the world - in his mind - but nothing much of substance there really
-Spaulding told the real creepy story about NSJ posting all of her real info including name, birthdate, address, hubby name, etc.
-Panther tried to hijack it and make it all about him
-Panther accused spaulding of cheating on her husband
-BRick stepped in (among others) to defend sapulding
-prunage

I kept up with it until the last 3 or 4 pages were pruned mid-stream this morning.
I felt like I was peering into some type of group session. NSJ has been a dick to
me once or twice and I've never been a big fan but I'd pretty much forgotten about
his jabs. Didnt know anything about the Spaulding thing. Just a weird thread
all together.

Add a ban on the usage of the name of the organization to the list.

I know Spaulding and NSJ didn't get along, but I had no idea about the personal stuff he had posted. Very creepy and I can totally see why Spaulding would be frightened.

NSJ replied this morning so here is my response to his points. I copied it before I posted it because I had a feeling the thread would disappear:

I wish it never happened and you should be sorry. You went and got my personal info off the link from my avatar which was on photobucket. The story you heard is untrue. You are either uninformed or lying to make yourself look good. The one that I told here yesterday is true. You can't refute it, you don't even have a story, you have selective amnesia right now. You can have it deleted, it doesn't make it any less true, and I can tell it again.

Sure it comes up when you start acting like a weirdo on a semi annual to annual basis. And every year you act like I'm picking on you and it never happened, that you a victim and you are being reasonable.

Remember guys he never actually posted my info. I was shocked at coincedences and revealed my own info.

If I have a car worth $900,000 ... and NO ONE WANTS TO BUY IT FOR ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY, what is that car really worth?

I'm going to paraphrase your quote from memory. This was in response to me saying that anyone who bought GM stock in December has seen a nice short term profit.

"You can't make a profit if you can't turn it into cash

I don't see anyone willing to buy it".

That's not the conversation at all. You are trying to change it.

It was a direct response to me saying that short term investors have made a great profit.

You are just making things up to get responses anyways so I have no desire to go forward. Just admit that you were just joking about not knowing that a stock price is set by the current market of buyers and sellers and we can end this.

Still Spaulding. Regardless of if he actually posted "this is Spaulding's real name and where she used to live" or coincidence, you knew what he was doing and its still creepy. Its one thing to refer to a board member by name, or post a picture from a gathering that they may not want up, but the kind of shit that he did takes all sorts of digging and planning.

He's going to say he never posted my address just referred to people that I know (previous owners of my house.) Which is odd considering he doesn't really remember what happened, just that my story is completely wrong and made up.

It doesn't take that much digging a google seach of my name and town would pop up that info. I don't know many people that would come back and play a joke like that though.

It's averaging 10-15 million shares traded a day.

You will recall from the original GM IPO thread, that I never argued any short term profits. I stated that the stock has no chance of getting near $50 any time soon, and the governments hopes of breaking even are reliant upon that happening.
That's fine. That wasn't the discussion in that thread. Once again, you had quoted me saying "short term investors made a nice profit, long term investment is TBD". I never claimed that stock was worth anything but the current stock price, which is a nice profit so far unless you bought after New Years.
immessedup17 wrote:

You keep on bringing up $50. That was not referenced once in the now deleted thread by you, me, or anyone else. I never, ever claimed that the stock is worth $50. It may be in the future. It may not.
immessedup17 wrote:
If one or two people made short term gains, great. America lost quite a bit more.
You continue to embarrass yourself. I don't feel like looking it up, but with the average daily volume on the stock it's likely that thousands or hundreds of thousands of people made short term gains.

Still, that wasn't the conversation at all. Let me say it once again. You were responding directly to my thoughts on short term gains for investors, which was one of the two major points that have been made. I felt the GM IPO was a good short term investment. I also did, and still do, think that it is a good long term investment and it will eventually hit $50 but we'll have to wait and see on that. I was right about the short term though.

On the GM thing, most analysts are bullish on the stock... meaning most people are buying right now and not selling it.
Now, anyone buying in before 1/1 could have sold out in profit. And many people are buying and holding. Last I saw it was listed as buy on marketwatch and it was also definately listed as bullish.
In other words, there is no shortage of buyers. Most brokers are listing this as a buy/hold.

I asked for nothing to be deleted/pruned, particularly my 500 word post you partially refer to.

Bottom line is the first time I was told that I posted you and your husband's names, birthdates, anniversery and social security numbers and address, I decided I wasn't going to post here again. I've always acknowledged to playing off things you posted but never to having posted what was alleged.

The next three times the games were positioned as creepy posting personal info on this board, I had similar feelings about just leaving. I apologized for those games '07, '08, '09, '10 and now 2011 (deleted thread/post). Maybe the best way I can apologize is to go with my original instinct. It's not worth it.

No, it was in another thread months ago. The discussion was only about already happened dealings. In this very thread you made a similar ignorant statement, which has been refuted by Dr. Kenneth Noisewater. You are backtracking plain and simple because you showed a clear lack of understanding.
immessedup17 wrote:

That's true. Good job! It's still not what we were discussing. I would never have argued this point because it's accurate.

Now please, go back to your fallback plan and claim this is all a joke to get me to react to you and we can end this. You've done it before. Just do it again. Then I can move on to someone else who actually says things they mean.

I would say the best way is to NOT play games with the information of people you REALLY don't know. Of course that is assuming that Spaulding isn't just picking on you for no reason at all. Similar to what she has done to a countless number of posters over the years.
