may want to split it up, do half and half, and don't overdo it. depends, too, on how hard you played in the morning.

I'm down to 210.4 As of Saturday....I had a some pizza and my favorite oven baked sandwich from Domino's yesterday, so I've probably gained a pound or 2....but now that the football season is over, I'll probably skip the Sunday pizza's until September.

Once I get down to 200-205 range (hopefully within the next 1-2 weeks), I will focus more on building muscle. It's becoming quite difficult to do cardio and lifting in the same session. I'm up to nearly 3.5 miles on the treadmill in 45 minutes, and I have to say that it is kicking my ass. A lady friend last night told me that she can tell that I have lost weight. :)

don't combine too much cardio and lifting...especially at your stage. don't want to pull anything. keep running. and do the leg press before lifting. builds testosterone.

Leg Press?? Get on the fucking squat rack already.

Having problems keeping up the daily workouts, but I'm sticking to the eating healthier and drinking less soda and it's paying off...was 318.3 today...

That's about the only thing I can stick to....not drinking soda and drinking lots of water. Taking the time to workout is my biggest obstacle.

keep it up, lipid! if you can brave the cold, try just walking a few blocks or something--something more convenient if you can.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to do something...30 minutes of dance central a night takes it toll after a week or so...

Do an at home 300. Its fast, easy to set up (not to do) and will kick the shit out of you.

Just pick as many things as you can to do at home and make the total reps for all of them be 300 and do it as fast as you can.

For example one I did when there was a snow day at the gym.

50 push ups
50 lunges
50 body weight squats
50 sit ups
50 jumping jacks
50 squat jumps

It doesn't look like much but if you try to do it as fast as possible it is a great workout.

Yeah, there's no way I'm going to be able to do anything close to that out of the gate...about the only strenght I have is in my legs and thighs...

Yeah was thinking the same thing. Use the cardio time as recovery. Eliptical - Bike....Basically cross-train.

I have been focusing on moving faster over the course of my long runs and have been able to cut my average mile time by 45 seconds/mile in the past week.

I've hit another plateau. Have only lost 1 pound in the past 2 weeks. Last week only got to exercise twice cause of the blizzard so I skipped the weigh in last week. Was on the ice 3x this week, had my weigh in today and it was 204. 21 total pounds since the start of the year.

I'm eating right, nothing to change there, but gonna try my best to get on the ice at least 4x this week and gonna shoot for 5. If I do that for a couple weeks that should be enough to push me past this barrier and into the 190s.

Oh I'm not. Started a new treadmill routine this week. Been working my ass off. And I excercised today pushing a fucking 3000lb car down Waukeegan Road at rush hour.

No slacking here. Sick as a dog, but in honor of Michael Jordan's birthday I'm still gonna go to my 10pm hockey game tonight. Also got a game tomorrow night and saturday morning. Already skated sunday and tuesday this week. Hopefully this little push will get me past the plateau I've been at for a couple weeks.

I'm happy to report that I am down to 205. That is 20 lbs lost since December.

Today, I have on a pair of jeans that I could not hold up anymore without a belt. Last summer these same jeans were so tight I almost thought about trashing them.

I will not be switching to focus more to lifting.

Well done sir.

I've decided that I'm only going to weigh myself every other week. I'll continue on my workout/diets still.

As I hoped would happen, i managed to plow through the 205 plateau this week. Weighed in today at 200.5, down 24.5 pounds since new years. Skated the last 3 days with a terrible cold and it paid off. Its been years since I was under 200. I'm sure I'll hit another plateau now, but I don't think I'll have any problem hitting my goal weight of 190 before my April 6 trip to Mexico.

Over the last 3 weeks things have been hard for me to watch what I eat and get some workouts in. For the first 2 weeks I stayed at the same weight. Last week was the worst week for eating I have had in 2011 and I did not work out 1 time. I was afraid to get on the scale this morning figuring I had gained back a bunch of weight. To my surprise I had lost almost 2lbs.

Getting back to watching what I eat closely and getting some workouts in this week.

Thanks. Going to San Miguel for a buddy's wedding. It doesn't seem like a very exciting place to visit.

With my new lifestyle change of living on the wagon I am going to get serious about
slimming down to 200 lbs. I haven't been there since I graduated college in 1999.
I currently stand at 236. Gonna try to hit my goal by July 4th. That is 2 lbs a week
so I think that is definitely possible. I was over 255 at the beginning of last year so
if I can get there it will be quite a change.
