All things considered, the most enjoyable Bulls game for me in quite a long time .... makes me feel just that much more confident going towards the postseason ... not sayin', just sayin' .... :D

Good call.

Nice to see Deng earning his pay. Hope he stays healthy. Great win.

Not sure if it made it on the air, but when D rose hit that shot on the wing, even he couldn't contain himself with a clear as day FUCK YEAH!

^^Now I know what to wear in April for the bbs game, i.e., if Guy Fieri moved to Chicago and became Bulls fan and deep dish addict.

If healthy he is usually fine. It's nice to have a player as good as he is as your 4th best player.

Very positive sign seeing him step up in the clutch.

Wow. That was the Bulls game of the year thus far, nudging out the inspirational come-from-behind overtime victory in Phoenix. Not only did we get to see a clutch D-Rose daggeresque ~15 footer with a minute left, but that pass to a wide open LOL DENG was a thing of beauty. I was personally amazed that LOL DENG hit the clutch 3, cuz that's not necessarily his MO.

let's see if i can link up the image of the night...

Good for him passing it to Deng. He was trying to do too much before that and was forcing shots the last few minutes, but he got it right the last 2 possessions and that's what counts.

I don't know if it was GarPax or just some stroke of luck, but thank God we got Boozer over Bosh.

I was at the game last night. I don't think Bigfan heard the fuck yeah, cuz you couldn't hear much of anything in the stadium. Loudest game I've been too since the Celtics playoff series a couple years back. Chris Bosh played an awful game last night, and that really was the difference. He had a terrible flop in the second quarter that really got the crowd going on him. He "took" an elbow to the face, but looking at the replay on the scoreboard, it didn't even look like he was touched. Did they show anything on TV? He just fell like he was shot by a sniper, so I don't think that would indicate an elbow to the face.

The secret to playing the heat is that you have to shut 1 of the big 3 down. If all 3 of those guys have monster games, you really have no shot at winning. Make one of their scrubs beat you. It's a shame that they blew the Toronto game the night before, cuz they would only be a game and a half back right now of the number 1 spot.

Soft as hell. And a bunch of those terrible jumpers he threw up last night weren't really contested. Hopefully he believes in his jumper like that come playoff time...

Other than LeBron & Dwyane combining for 63 points between them, the only other Heat player in double figures with 12 was Mario Chalmers. They got just 7 officially from Chris Bosh, 5 from Erick Dampier and only 2 James Jones points off their bench. That's not winning basketball.

They showed it from multiple angles. Can't remember who was doing play by play and color (Miller?), but one of them just toasted Bosh while the other tried to play it safe and say there looked to be some contact. It was clear it was a full acting job.

^it was Reggie who roasted Bosh. Harlen has always played it as safe as possible

I love when Deng plays with confidence and authority. If he decides to show up during the 2nd half on a consistent basis the Bulls will be extremely tough to beat.

There is something about playing against LeBron that gets him going. I saw the fire for the first time in the playoffs against Cleveland last year. He seemed like he really wanted to take it to LeBron.

Harlan mentioned that Deng was the #2 high school player to Lebron at #1. Not sure if that still comes into play or not. Also, Deng always seems to play well against Miami. He played great against them IIRC when the Bulls beat the Heat in the playoffs.

Hopefully he keeps that fire. Would be nice if the Bulls still had the Wade stopper (Kirk Hinrich).
