Boozer and Noah are the loudest sonsabitches in the league. And I likes it.

Rose is making Dougie Wall look like a punk.

Scalabrine better get some burn tonight. What are the starters still doing on the floor?

Flipped to this game on Hawks commercials and thought the same thing. Perfect night to give Deng some time off.

Gotta love Stacey comparing the Wizards to bad Sunday men's rec league basketball

i was wondering too why Rose even came back in the game with 6 minutes or so left. he had already played 28 minutes I believe and they were still by 20 or so. with 3 big games coming up and a 4th one Monday on a back to back I'd think they could use as much rest as possible

The rest is secondary IMO, if one of your stars gets hurt in a game where you have a 20+ point lead in the 4th quarter, that's on the coach.

The only guys I want to see on the floor at that point are:
Scalabrine
Asik
Kurt Thomas
Bogans
Korver/Brewer

Scalabrine didn't check in until there was a little over a minute left and the lead was almost 30 points. What in the world is Thibs thinking?

It's too early to say definitively, but WTF happened to John Wall.... i thought when he came into the league like a house afire, he might be the next great point to push Derrick... now I can see him going the way of a Devin Harris, quick, talented for sure, but not a leader or franchise player. Like I said it's early... and we will see what path his career takes.

Thibs made a good decision with minutes when the Bulls were getting blown out by the Knicks back in December and the next night they had to play Boston. He has ridden the starters almost exclusively since then. What is interesting is lately he has been pretty consistent in his substitution patterns (Noah re-entry excepted). It will be interesting to see what he does with minutes in late March and April. Deng used to turn into a china doll about now. Hopefully that is behind him.

It's the "rookie-wall" (no pun intended). They all run into it. Rookies just aren't accustomed to the schedule, travel, and the minutes and they usually start to run out of gas around February/March, especially point guards. It even happened to Derrick. I wouldn't worry about it. Wall's still gonna be a great player.

That bank shot was awesome. The best part was the reaction of everyone on the bench at that point. Rose knows that B-Scal is the TRUTH

I get what you're saying, but I don't think much can be learned or practiced when you have a 20+ point lead and your opponent has clearly waved the white flag. It's better to just play it safe and get your stars off the floor. This team is one major injury away from being a non-factor in the playoffs. Why risk it?

I was joking. I have no idea why the starters were out there, other than to keep a semi consistent substitution pattern. And I don't think that makes sense. Yet another reason to watch I guess.

Come on. Think of all the other plays he can run for Scal. That right there is reason to rest starters.
