Only 4 of the next 11 opponents are over .500. Those 4 teams (Hawks/Grizzlies/Sixers/Suns) don't really scare me either. I believe this stretch will put the Bulls in the top spot in the East with 5 games remaining after that. This is easily the most excited I've been about Bulls basketball since I was a sophomore in high school.

I'm about to say hi to 30 next year so I wouldn't really call that young. I young enough to know the right car to buy yet grown enough not to put rims on it.

I'm 28 and also beyond excited for this final run. Boston simply doesn't have the momentum going in to the end of the season to keep that top seed.

Their schedule is tougher and their legs aren't getting younger. While I believe facing Miami and Boston will only make the Bulls stronger in the Finals I won't complain if they only have to face 1 of them.

This is a winnable stretch of games and if the Bulls really want the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference, they need to keep winning. Chuck Swirsky, the Bulls' radio voice on ESPN Radio 1000, said the last time the Bulls played the Wizards, he thought Washington "packed it in for the season." The Wizards are tomorrow night, followed by back-to-back road games in Newark Thursday vs. the Nets & Indianapolis Friday vs. a Pacers' team that the Bulls have beaten twice already, but could see them again as a possible first round opponent come playoff time if they play their cards right.

Heat lost again at home to OK City. Cleveland last year may be better than this year's Heat.

I don't think Boston really cares about the #1 seed. Doc will make sure his guys are healthy and rested for the playoffs.

Its more important for the Bulls to get that top spot for sure. They are almost unbeatable at home and a few games over .500 on the road. Having to face Boston at the garden is tough and Miami will be a rough series too.

I just hope the Bulls don't burn out trying to maintain the #1

The top spot is definitely priority number one.

1. They will only have to play Miami or Boston, and not both.

2. If and when they face them, they will have home court. I think they can win a series against either if they have home court advantage, otherwise I'm not so sure.

3. It would be pretty damn awesome

The Bulls have a back-to-back tonight in Newark's Prudential Center vs. a Nets' team that has won 5 in a row and owns a win over the Bulls the last time these two teams played in New Jersey. They'll be at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis tomorrow vs. a Pacers' team that the Bulls have beaten twice already. Believe it or not, the Pacers currently own the #8 seed in the Eastern Conference by 1/2 game over the Bobcats starting the night. While the Bulls have dominated the Central Division, the Pacers could likely be the first-round opponent come NBA Playoff time should the Bulls be the #1 seed.
