Every year I take the first Friday of the tournament off work and go watch the games. Have a group of friends that do the same and this year we are heading to POPS in Palatine to watch the action. He put together some specials for us and if anyone is interested in meeting out there let me know. I'd be happy to buy you a beer! Here is what he is offering:

Half price apps all day
$2 pints domestic
$7 pitchers
$12 buckets of 5 domestic (mix and match) coors bud mgd...You get a free beer with every bucket.
$4 bomb shots jagerbomb, O bomb, cherry bomb , tic tacs ...
Also $10 large pizzas 2 toppings.

Also we have access to the private room with the 92 inch TV to showcase whatever game we want.

Its a good place to watch as it isn't very crowded during the day and the Jerseytine populace doesn't creep out until after 8 or so.

EDIT: Changed title to make more sense and more details for CIJ :D

Sounds like I'll be meeting a buddy for a hoops marathon at Tilted Kilt in Roselle.
He heard the talent there was pretty good so if I can secure a good seat that
may be a good way to kill an afternoon.

That is a good alternative - I like that place. One of these days we will grab a beer in Ptown. Maybe a Hawks game during the week?
