Hey Ivan, do you know, of all the team sports, which one lends itself to excelling at golf the most?

That's right, fucking hockey bitch!

Doesn't surprise me that hockey players would excel at using their shafts to put balls in holes.

I could borrow my sons golf bag for the day also, for anybody that would need it. They are adult clubs.

Update:

Looks like I figured out a way to get this ball rolling. I will start making more arrangements and whatnot in the next few days along with proposed dates and cost information.

Those interested:

Would there be a preference on 9 holes vs 18 holes?

Also, would Salt Creek in Woodale be a decent location for everyone to get to easily?

Again, nothing official yet but we'll get this set up for this season.

We will be having our 2nd annual outing this year sometime around June??
Last year we had it at Mistwood. Looking at Praire Bluff or Wedgewood this year had a guy from Wedgewood here
St Patricks day and said he would hook me up? Last year was $100.00 Pig Roast after the round, prizes best score, longest drive, closest to the pin, longest putt ect.. lunch and beer at the turn, 2 drinks when you get back here and raffles for the
rest of the night. Best Ball format.
If thats to far away let me know and maybe we can move it up.

Update:

Salt Creek in Wooddale still appears to be the leader in the clubhouse right now. They have multiple golf outing packages to choose from, and I am pretty sure I can get some swag from my blog readers to give away for prizes and whatnot.

April appears to be the best timeframe in terms of date availability.

I should be good for the weekends of the 16th, 23rd or 30th.

Wood Dale is pretty easy for everybody to get to I think.

My April is busy, but I'm sure I could try and make time for a golf outing.

April is a terrible time to have a golf outing. Wait for warmer weather and less probability of rain. June at the earliest.

A few things to consider:

-The summer months are typically reserved for large corporate outings at most courses.

- If we want an outing package that could include food, cart, etc. we are going to be pretty limited in terms of available dates for a group our size (figuring less than 20 people).

- With that being said, would a better option be to just book tee times at a course and have every man fend for himself? I don't mind this option at all, but any input would be welcomed.

And yes shakes, I agree that April blows.

Food? Beer is food...

Why not an afternoon tee time on a Saturday in June?

Every large corporate outing I've been to has been on a Monday.
