i can still tolerate "smells like teen spirit" but "come as you are" is the instant channel changer for me.

i still like "polly", too, and "lithium". but i'd rather listen to the b sides, like "breed" (which sounds closer to stuff on "bleach") and "lounge act".

I saw them play at Dreamerz in probably 1989. They were just another loud distorted band and I didn't really think anything of them. I'm pretty sure they were a four-piece and I don't think Grohl was on drums.

mine too. i used to rollerblade (cool guy!!1) in my neighborhood back when i lived in geneva, and i'd listen to that album all the while. it's a great collection of songs.
