take it in context...obviously he was rookie, noone expects him to have a great year in the sense of Ramirez, Pujols, etc...

but he could flat out hit that year, and for a first year player, i said "great" to convey that he hit great, for a rookie, and by most standards, for not being an everyday player

bottom line is, there was no explanation for why we got rid of him, and he showed he can hit that year, so performance should not have been a reason for it (considering he was a rookie)...not everyone is starlin castro in their first year, so what if he .250 and not .300
