Sorry. Not a fan of Quade but I am open minded. Why didn't Quade tell Silva he was cut? Why did he have the pitching coach do it??

I have really liked him so far. But not sure if it is really going to make a difference on this team or not. Hopefully so, but I am not getting my hopes up.

Maybe Silva really acted like an asshole thru spring training, and this was Quade's final way of telling him off. Maybe he figured "Ok, thats fine. You want to act like that, I'll have the pitching coach say you were cut."

Quade like the Bulls head coach has toiled for years and finally has received a chance in the big show. Starlin Castro maybe can be the baseball equivalent of DRose? Personally,I'd be happy if he can bat around 280-290/360OBP and cut the errors in half.
