Alright kids, drove out to the course today and discussed possible dates with the pro shop. Looks like we are best suited for April 23.

Here's the deal:

Course: Salt Creek Golf Club http://www.saltcreekgolfclub.com/Golf/rates.html

Address: 701 W. Thorndale Avenue, Wood Dale, IL 60191

Cost: 18-holes for $25.00 non-resident ($18.00 resident)


With April 23 being on Easter weekend, I am sure a few of us won't be able to make it for this first outing. With that being said, I am hoping to get at least 2 foursomes together. The course has a strict "two foursome reservation" policy, so if we have more than 8 people I'll need another person to call to book the third grouping (ask to speak to Dave in the pro shop). Easily handled, regardless.

So, I'm opening the tee times to 8 people to start. If we have more interested we'll work it out, but this is the list I have so far based on what people said in this thread who can make April 23rd:

Yeah, thats understandable. As long as my schedule is clear and the price is decent, I'm pretty much down to golf anywhere. I've driven as far north as Elgin and as far south as University Park.

UPDATE:

Alright fellas, looks like we have 8 people confirmed for April 23rd. This works out perfectly since the course will only allow me to make tee times over the phone 8-people at a time.

However, I am only able to reserve the tee-times 7 days in advance to the actual date (so stupid).

I will make the call on April 16 to reserve 2 tee times (2 foursomes) in the afternoon of April 23. Once done, I will post the times here. We can figure out pairings later.

Who are the 8 people? Did I make the cut, or am I going to have to call earlier than you on the 16th to reserve the entire course?
