Today is the day! Everyone told me not to be worried about the crappy spring he had.

Garza is not new to me, I drafted this guy in my roto league when he was in the Twins minor league system! Been watching him for years. The guy is a little nutty and never came as close to having as bad of a stretch pitching as he did this spring. He almost never had even good back to back innings this spring.

All in the past now, walk the walk time.

Would like nothing more than to see this guy become the pitcher Hendry claims he is and become the #1 guy on the staff, thus placing Demp as the #3 and where he should be.

Plus, if Garza does well, then it makes his cheerleading seem much better than having a bust on the top stair yelling at everyone.

Although 'Garza-Cam' on the broadcast will get old. Glad to see he's a good clubhouse guy. He should have a great year in the NL Central. 3.20-3.40 era is my goal for him

I wasn't a fan of the deal from the start. My hope is the Rays mgmt didn't fleece Hendry the Boob. Judging by history, I will have to go with the Rays decision makers over Hendry, until Garza proves otherwise.

Yes, he did have some bad luck on the check swing, hwoever, he gave up the hit to get Tabata on and for Tabata to Score from third.

A guy I work with that is waaaaay too into fantasy baseball is always projecting stats like its the 70's for pitchers and the 90's for hitters


He'll getcha 17-18 wins (talking about ted lilly)

Hell getcha 30 homeruns (player with a career high of 21)

I just watch them play. That's all I have ever done. Numbers are great in hindsight, but are meaningless in the here and now. Past performance is not indicative of future results...
