Hope I'm not stepping on Dan's toes here but I didnt see a preview yet. I think they should take 2 out of 3. That Sunday game could be pretty rough...

Friday, April 8, 7:10 PM CT
Carlos Zambrano
Randy Wolf

Saturday, April 9, 6:10 PM CT
Matt Garza
Chris Narveson

Sunday, April 10, 1:10 PM CT
Likely Casey Coleman, but Cubs.com still showing TBD

Hopefully Z is properly hydrated this evening. I also hope he is economical with his pitch count so that the shark remains in his tank and far away from the mound. Big Z is going to go yard tonight as well.

Thanks Hank. I meant to do this earlier, but my dipshit idiot of a boss manages to keep me busy with mundane pointless projects.

Create a system to allow for more posting at work. Don't show him, just make it "the way." I don't think he'll get upset.

No problem. I was hoping that it wasnt a breach of CSFMB etiquette. I wasnt here last season until it was well out of hand and no one cared about the Cubs anymore.

Fuck it just post the previews.
I like to see probables, with stats, and a nugget. Show me the nugget, and I'm happy. Maybe a prediction.

Soto fails and leaves 2 runners on base in the first. Shark alert is low
Soto makes up for his failure with a 2 run bomb in the top of the 4th. Shark alert remains low

Figure it out Z
104 pitches through 4 2/3
Shark alert is now on medium and approaching high.

Baker is owning Wolf.
I think Z and his 105 are coming back out for the 6th.
Shark alert medium and approaching low

That was a big 6th inning. 8 pitches... nicely done.

Huge. That most likely keeps the shark in the tank for this game.

You will see him on Tuesday when Russell starts. Apparently they will have Russell on a 40-50 pitch count meaning 3-4 innings of work.

UMN, you gotta have a Cub to hate each year? Last year it was DLee. This year it is Shark.

That game should be blacked out for the good of the world.

It could be the beginning of the end for him if he gets shelled, though. Could be on the next train outta town.

kinda justified on Shark, wouldn't you say? The guy shouldn't even be on the roster.

We can only hope. I figure he has 2 bad outings left before they pull the trigger on him. If he can somehow pull together 4 or so good outings before that happens it may delay his impending doom by 3 or so weeks.

The Shark has had ample opportunity to develop and he hasn't. I think most people universally agree that he is bad and shouldn't be on a major league roster. I don't hate the shark, i just hate seeing him in a game that isn't already decided and I do not like him taking a roster space to serve no other purpose than to eat innings in a blowout.

Nice double there by Byrd. Love to see them getting those insurance runs.

Also, these should be the Brewers jerseys all the time. Great logo, great color scheme. Very solid.

What must it be like to face Marmol? Your best bet is to not bother swinging at all. I don't think I have ever seen a pitcher make Major League hitters look like he does.
It's like watching the hotshot Legion kid make the future forklift operators look like shit. He does it to the best of the best, just amazing.

If I were a hitter facing him I would put the bat on my shoulder and make him strike me out looking.
