So, to summarize again...Jim Callis knows more about baseball than you'll ever know about anything. Jim Callis says Matt Szczur would have been a first round draft pick.

See this is what im talking about

Why are you such a smarmy little asshole?

I told you I looked for the article but couldn't find it. Still don't understand the 11-29 thing but if Jim Callis says it then I believe it.

...the first thing I've lost at all day.

:)

Those numbers are skewed by your parents not letting you have a computer in your room the first 3 years you signed up.

And its pretty obvious how much this board means to you and your social life.

But if you think I care more....Ok

The kid's source was legit, even if it was presented in a weird way.

Ah, the old fall back...never fails...

Ok, well you signed up and barely posted for the first few years and now you post very often correct?

I guess I shouldnt have been a jagoff and used the parents line. No reason for that.

I HATE when people are assholes for no reason

Tyler Colvin is a .250, 20 HR Major League Journey Man, that if he is lucky has the .289, 26 HR 90 RBI year in his free agent year and thats his peak.

My issue is that this is the guy that Jim Hendry and Tom Ricketts keep hanging their hat on when they speak of the system developing guys

Trade Fuku fast! while he is batting .300+ and see if Colvin can play everyday! or if he is Hoffpauer!

My guy Frank C never compliments me on ripping my own team, like I rip his team! I am very upset by this :)

Colvin will be a bench player on a championship caliber team. Nice fourth or fifth guy if used correcctly. Not a everyday guy.Ditto for the entire Cub outfield. Byrd is OK but on a great team he is a bench guy. Fuki should be gone but you are stuck with him and Sorryasso too. Ram is in contract year so he will play his ass off now. Castro is too young and too good for the Flubs. Three bad second basemen. Pena at first will be gone soon. Soto is trade bait cause he makes little cash and has value. Has 77-85 written all over it.

Been dropping this line about Colvin since last year. Pisses me off when I hear Hendry talk about this kid as if they have already produced a solid corner OF in the bigs!

exactly...because if they had, he'd be playing everyday

Hendry hates/doesnt trust young players
