i think thibs is gonna play this game as any other. they dont have much to play for, but i dont think this team is experienced enough to turn "it" on and off at will. hes gonna keep this locomotive steamin right into the playoffs.

OVERRATED. With the exception of Thomas who is ancient, and Noah who needs to get healthy, minutes should not be a big deal. We are here to win a championship now, not make sure everyone feels good tomorrow. Thibs caught some crap for keeping his rotations as consistent as he has, but it is the right move. For a team like this, and possibly any team, I believe the consistency of how each game is supposed to be played is huge. In the playoffs, the game is more physical and it gets faster. I want my team to have a consistent style of play and minutes leading up to the change so you have fewer adjusting parts when the games start.

theyve had a great rhythm the whole year. it would be dumb to break that a few games before you need that same thing again.

they can rest in the 4th qtr when theyre up by 25

Yeah, that was amazing. I wondered what it must be like to come down from a jump like that. Never had that 40" vertical. The hang time and body control on the dish to Taj was pretty amazing too IIRC.

Taj played a great game yesterday and was more suited to be on the floor with Dwight Howard serving the suspension.

But I would take Noah over Taj any day of the week.
