He was better than Mike in SD. I still cannot believe Rome thought that was good.

What's weird, KI, is that when I used to listen to him 6-7 years ago, he was doing that bit.
He hasn't let it go, and it's STILL hilarious.

Rome discussing the depressing memories you get from just hearing the stop watch from 60 Minutes.

I would also add the begining of MASH as well. Even when I hear that now, I get really sad...

I remeber some of those fill in/vacation shows from back in the day.

Not gonna do it. It's just a completely different show when he isn't there. No knock on the guys who fill in, but it is what it is.

I enjoy when Jay Mohr fills in for him, that is usually a good show. I also enjoyed the times that Jason Whitlock has filled in for him. Other than that, no thanks.

Rome doesn't sound like a fan of the weed.

He tries to act like he doesn't care either way, but he comes off a little judgemental. Not so thinly veiled shots and jokes...

Jim Rome
VAN SMACK IS BACK - You knew the Thunder would push the Lakers, but you didn't think the Hornets would. ... If Philip Jackson is so smart, he better come up with an answer for Chris Paul STAT... The Celtics are "back?" Hammering the Knicks doesn't prove anything... Today is an especially terrible day to be a Buckeyes fan
