Boring episode, but at least eliminating two people means we have one less show devoted to this boring portion of the game.

It is kind of dull. All you see is the Ometepe 6 taking out the Zapatera folks.

But Phillip makes it all worthwhile.

Phillip is fun to watch. Stealth R US. It would be something if he is the one that convinces everyone to take out Rob once the other tribe is voted out.

You guys think they are going to make it until all the other tribe is out? It seems Rob is holding the reins too tight and getting too big of an ego. I can see Philip and Grant leading a charge to blindside him. Rob's leadership is growing old on them.

yeah i could see that and i don't know why rob is getting so drunk with power; he's been on this show enough times he should know how to play this game better. then again, he is a total meathead and i guess i can't be that surprised.

Yeah, I could see Rob losing the old stage coach by holding the reins too tightly.
Not that great of an episode, Phillip is entertaining but it is becoming clear that he is only
half as crazy as he seems and is putting on quite an act. I was genuinely hoping
he was totally nuts.

Very happy to see Burnett learned his lessons from previous seasons and decided to condense the pagonging (survivor term, look it up) of the purple tribe into as few of episodes as possible to decrease some of the boredom.

The clues in the editing have been pretty obvious so far. Early on after Russel was eliminated via the challenge throw it was hinted in the editing that his tribe would be screwed from there on out.

Early in the shwo it was hinted that Matt would run the table at Redemption and make it back into the game.

And over the past few episodes it been hinted that Phillip would be the ruin of Rob so we'll see if it turns out that way.

Last night we really got a heavy dose of editing regarding Rob's ego/dominance in the game. USUALLY when that happens on Survivor it means that its all going to blow up in his face at some point. My only hope as a huge Rob fan is that because he is such a Survivor Supestar, burnett is giving him this editing as a tribute rather than as a comeuppence lesson. I'm hoping that this is all part of the Rob show editing and he wins the whole game and Burnett just wants to feature his big star the whole way through. But, precedent says that Rob is in trouble eventually.

Good thoughts shakes. It could also be a combination of both. Philip takes out Rob. Rob goes to Redemption and wins there and comes back to the show. Probably not real likely, but possible.

I've been way behind on the DVR for this show. Finally caught up and I must say Phillip is worth the price of admission.

It may be boring, but if he's in control as much as it seems, it's going well for Rob. Depending on how immunity challenges go, he's looking at the final 5 with an immunity idol and 3 people that I don't think would get votes. A final 3 of Rob, Phillip and either girl and I think Rob wins almost unanimously. Phillip because everybody hates him and the 2 girls because of the "they didn't do anything to get here" argument. Grant could be his downfall if he makes it to the end. Of course, immunity challenges and however redemption island works could mess up my thoughts.

i thought to myself why grant isn't making a move now against rob but it might be too early to do that...but something's gonna have to give.

I hope something shakes up the game soon. Phillip is one unstable mf'er.
Maybe I was wrong about him only being half as crazy as the character
he is playing on the show.
