More than Quade, I'm questioning this pitching coach. I haven't seen any of our pitchers get better. The Big 3 have been bad for the most part, Marmol hasn't been the same, Shark and Grabow are still bad. I'm guessing this guy is another yes man for Hendry, just like Quade.

What pitchers on this staff do you think are good besides Marmol?

Zambrano has been on the downside of his career for about the last 2-3 seasons. Dempster has always been an average pitcher, Garza will be an average pitcher. Other than that, the staff is a collection of garbage. Dave Duncan couldn't turn this staff into a contender. Who should the pitching coach be making better?

The goal is to win championships. Period. If Mark Cuban was the owner, you can bet the entire mindset of this organization would be different and that Hendry, Kenney and Quade would be long gone.

I didn't say I was happy. I'm just being a realist. Do you honestly think this team can be better than a .500 baseball team? I picture them being about 10 games under by the end of the season. That's why I said being .500 would be a success. If you expect anything out of this current roster, you're an idiot.

That is the entire point. This ownership and management team has assembled a roster that will be lucky to be .500 and that is totally unacceptable. See the Bulls who fired Vinny after .500 finishes, reload and now finish with the best record in the league. I hate to say it, but Reinsdorf is a superior owner than Ricketts and his ass kissing management team.

Yeah, but spending about a billion dollars more to get the same result makes him better.

I am a proud idiot then. I dont know why but I just have a feeling about this team this year. I will probably be mocked later in the season for all my early season optimism but I just think that they will click and hang around the top of the division.
