Unfortunately no. However, the size of the course would make you believe otherwise.

Saw the forecast changed to 20% chance of rain, cloudy, low-mid 50s. Gloomy and cool, but golfable for sure.

Frank, I was just coming over here to report that. Looking forward to my first time getting out this year.

I am beyond excited to see how most of us maneuver around the hanging power lines over a hole on the back nine. Not to mention the electrical tower on the 11th.

I'm going to wait until Wednesday to see what the forecast looks like for Saturday. If it is looking too crappy, we may need to postpone.

Bah! Rain gloves are where it's at. The technology is amazing - I have the FootJoys and the wetter they are, the better the grip. Seriously, like stick-them-in-a-bucket-of-water wet. Let them dry naturally and put them in a ziplock bag. Last for years, cost like $20.

That said...pretty good chance I have to bail on golf this weekend. Temporary work assignment and the assclowns can't tell me whether I have to work Sat. Figured I would open it up to someone else if they want in. I'll show if I don't have to work... :(

A Canadian visiting a local Illinois golf course was tragically killed as he attempted to play an errant shot that got too close to an electrical tower. Authorities believe he was highly intoxicated and was told he was a burrito unless he attempted to 'play it as it lies'. More on this story coming up on the news at 9.

How much rain have you guys gotten down there? Ground completely
saturated up here after a couple inches of snow and a steady rain all
day yesterday. This is going to be an ugly event but could turn out
to be pretty funny overall.

Hey, whats the rule if your balls ends up in a puddle (big or smaller) on the course? Do you get a free drop?

This course does not drain very well, so I wouldn't be surprised to see puddles on the course. Salt Creek is a duffer's paradise, so keep your head on a swivel out there fellas. Hard hats should be required gear out there.

If anybody wants to hit up Top Golf (which is next door and uses the same shared parking lot) before we tee off, feel free to join me.

What time? I'm probably a 'go' for that.

Ditto. I'll probably need to swing a club a few times at least so I don't freeze to death.

I will probably get to Top Golf around 11:30. That will give me time to hit 20 or 40 balls.

Only 50 miles for us from Kenosha Hawg. If we leave from there by 10:45 we should be
able to make it in time to split a bucket or something. I'll call you tonight and we'll
set something up. I have to dig out my rain pants so that when I take a divot I don't
ruin my pants. :P

That's cute. You guys can stop by Steak N Shake and split a milkshake on the way home too!

I'll probably make my way out to the course around 11:30ish, so I'll join up with you guys for a quick range session.

Just got off the phone with T-bone a little bit ago and we will be there for the warm up session also. Looking forward to it, and Spanky my son is excited that I am going to meet you as he loves your avatar. I have tried to convince him otherwise but have failed miserably. First round is on me boys!!!!
