I do feel bad for Katherine, though. As posted above, when you look at her Linkedin profile her job before co-hosting the inaccurately named Daily Coppack, was a sales associate at Monsters in the Morning. That had to be the hardest job in the world once North's criminal buddy Hernandez was out of the picture.

I bet she's buds with Jen Jen--that's how she got the Monsters in the MOrning gig, likely.

Please, Katherine, I don't like to see a young person ruin their future--RUN FOR THE HILLS. Keep away from these people.

I guess the new rule is find a young girl with a smaller rack then Chet.

OMG! I just actually watched the whole 14:11 video of the oldster,Chet with the young blond. This has to be one of the most disturbing pieces of local media I ever watched. Tell you what,this young blonde,Katherine Saxon, is actually very intelligent. She is "up" on a number of subjects and is very smooth. The problem is Chet keeps leering at her and it looks like he is trying to impress her instead of the other way around. I think I'll nickname her the "anti-Jen".

Katherine Saxon
Katherine Saxon graduated in 2009 from Arizona State University with a degree in Theatre and also studied TV/Radio and Marketing. Katherine began carving out her career in Chicago on the sports TV simulcast "Monsters in the Morning" on Comcast SportsNet in 2009. Her role was the "Lady in the Morning," where she bantered with the hosts, Mike North and Dan Jiggetts. She also served as production assistant and facilitated communication between the hosts, director and the production staff. Katherine also was responsible for sponsorships on the show; she created and facilitated advertising packages for Degree Deodorant and Real Time Sports Bar and Grill. She also served as the Sporting Events Assistant for Entertainment Partners with Joe Buck and Tim McCarver for Major League Baseball on FOX.

In 2010 Katherine became the Creative Director, Guest Booker and Sales Associate for the Chicago Sun Times column "I'm Right, I'm Right," by Mike North and Dan Jiggetts. In addition, she began work as a Traffic Reporter/Producer for Shadow Broadcasting/Metro Networks, providing traffic reports and information for radio and television affiliates in multiple media markets.

In 2011 she worked as a freelance reporter, where she wrote and produced a video for the Chicago Grand Chefs Gala benefitting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Recently, she added Co-Host with Chet Coppock on the Internet based show "Coppock Time" on the Mike North website Northtonorth.com. This show focuses on current events, news, pop culture, and sports. Katherine has reached the semi-finals for CBS2 Chicago's Traffic Reporter auditions and hopes to make to the finals!

This is the type of shit that happens when you intertwine your fate with Mike North. I think Chet could have gotten a 'dave baum' type of gig here or there or even retained his dignity as one of the sports talk radio legends of Chicago like Wally Phillips. But he got mixed up with North and who the hell is going to touch anything or anybody associated with North.

I hope chet finds the light. I don't think he is a scumbag and is just desperate these days to find some kind of gig. He should have never passed on that National Sports Machine gig in the 80s, shit, wasn't George Michael (R.I.P) still doing that show somewhere some 25 years later?
