I think he is about due for a phantom DL trip and elongated "rehab assignment in Arizona and then Iowa". The problem with this is that they pull the trigger and call someone up to play first alongside Baker.

You know.....as bad as Colvin is doing...he isn't any worse than Pena with the bat right now. While I want him to work it out in the minor leagues....working it out here isn't that bad (given that he isnt a butcher in the field) because there is zero offensive drop off by taking Pena out of the lineup. Give him 2-3 weeks with Baker spelling him while Pena is on the phantom DL.

I was searching the stats last night and Coleman has as many extra base hits as him this year. He has 1 double and that is it.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Former Royals outfielder Brian McRae has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Interstate 435.

Police in Overland Park tell The Associated Press that the 43-year-old McRae was taken into custody at about 3 a.m. local time Thursday and released later that morning.

Police don't know whether McRae has an attorney. McRae's home phone has been disconnected.

The Kansas City Star reports McRae has faced two previous DUI citations. One in 2004 led to a conviction, but an Overland Park judge cleared him of the second in 2000.
