When exactly is Mike North's contract up?

And where is Mancow Muller now?

"Heavy is the head that wears the crown"

...or as Mike would say "the sombrero"

...or as Senn High School Principal would say back in the day "the dunce cap"

All the way to the bank; Mike North, whose everyman stance has made him a sports radio favorite, has just inked a $7.5-million contract. But has he undercut his blue-collar credibility?(News)(Biography)

How would I know ? He's not on the radio if that's what you're asking.

OK, and I don' think I'd want to listen to Mancow on a sports station. I want sports talk.

Before the ManQueer Militia takes over this thread, my point was:

If you are paid to be a premiere radio host, you'd damn well better bring the ratings, or you'll simply be shown the door when you don't want to work for a salary dictated by the ever frugal corporations that now run radio, in this case CBS, who couldn't even afford a lens cleaner to wipe the moisture from the front of the primary Super Bowl camera.

If not, then stir up some BS PR by threatening lawsuits against three avid sports radio fans.

Never mind the shittage, what's with this story on Jiggs I read, where he thinks a something on the radio side might be in the offing. Yeah, the same write-up where North sez he and Jiggs were pioneers in the dumbass/smart guy schtick...

I don't see the appeal in Manqueer. Neither did everyone else according to the ratings books for the past several years. His ratings were steadily on the decline, despite his claims to the contrary. His ratings dropped after his main competition, Howard Stern, left for satellite radio. If his ratings were so good, then why did Q101 let him go ? I guess people are sick of the loudmouth, windbag deejay (North, Mancow, and to a lesser extent Dahl).

Yes I know it will be a clash of the egos
But both have said publicly they will work together

It will only be a matter of time before they kill each other
Cow has nowhere else to go in this market
