This was quite possibly the biggest piece of crap I have watched in the theatre. I remember how cool Scream was when it first came out and I hoped that Wes Craven could re-boot the franchise and make it relevant again. He failed miserably. Dont waste your time.

See, I saw this last week and was amused by it.

I thought it was better than Scream 3.

Is it a great piece of cinematic work, no.

But I've definitely seen bigger steaming piles of shit in the theatre...I went and saw The Rite. I also saw The Last Exorcist. Both were far worse than this film.

That said, the 2 highlights of the afternoon I saw it were the trailer for Super 8, which looks pretty sweet, and for the first time in 12 years, I was mistaken for, and given the Student rate at the theatre...so it was a win.

As bad as Scream 3 was I still think it was a bit better than this one. The best thing I took from it was the trailer for Apollo 18.

This movie just recycled the plot from the original but made it worse. I didnt think it would be better than the first one but I didnt think it was going to get butchered either. I could excuse it if new people were involved but this was done by the same people.

For sure, I hate going to the theatre for horror movies. I only went to this one because I was talked into it after 4 dirty martinis.

My favorite part of Scream4 is Courtney Cox mentioning a "circle jerk", which made me immediately think of this board.
