I love seeing the Yankees (Rodriguez and Cano) slam their helmets after those last two outs. The Sox have needed these last two wins badly.

They can't lose the series now.

These are the 2 game that will turn things around and restart that march toward 90+ wins.

Take the over tonight. There are lots of Yankees with great histories against Buehrle and that was when he was good. I don't expect Bartolo to be much better.

I'll be interested to see who Ozzie gives the ball to, GD, in a potential save situation tonight following last night's cliffhanger. You know the folks at the grandfather of all-sports radio in this country, New York's WFAN, are referring to Brent Lillibridge as "Brent f----n' Lillibridge" today...

I certainly hope that they are not doing so while they are on the air. I am no expert on the Federal Communications Commission, but I think that WFAN would be fined for that.

Go back to making fun of Blackhawks fans, Johnson. You are in way over your head here.

Touche...I'm old enough to remember when Red Sox fans referred to Yankees SS Bucky Dent as "Bucky f----n' Dent" when he hit that homer in 1978 at Fenway Park.

Anyway, waiting patiently for tonight's lineup. It's believed that Omar Vizquel and that #11 jersey of his will be playing third base vs. Bartolo Colon and the Yankees...

The lineup is in for Game 3 in the Bronx. As advertised, Omar "Change Your Number!" Vizquel starts tonight at third base. The rest of the lineup vs. the Yankees' Bartolo "He's Still Pitching?" Colon goes like this...

1 Juan "When Will He Rest?" Pierre LF
10 Alexei "2 Hits in the #2 Hole Last Night" Ramirez SS
20 Carlos "Ozzie's A Genius...Right!" Quentin RF
14 Paul "2 Run Homer" Konerko 1B
32 Adam "Another Strikeout!" Dunn DH
51 Alex "I Got A Hit..." Rios CF
12 A.J. "Ditto for Me" Pierzynski C
15 Gordon "I Had an RBI Single!" Beckham 2B
11 Omar "Trade #11 for Brent Morel's #22" Vizquel 3B

Mark "Ozzie Knows Where I Am" Buehrle starts for the White Sox as they try for their third straight win in the Bronx tonight.

SHARK doesn't hate John Forsythe as much as he does seeing Omar Vizquel wear a number that is supposed to be retired! SHARK also has a tough time seeing the Paul Reubens-looking Kyle Orton sporting #8 instead of #18 with the Denver Broncos...

Buehrle has pitched good since that bad 1st inning by taking advantage of the wide strike zone. It would be nice to dent the plate a few times this inning.

Stoneroses believes that Shark definitely does not want to address this issue.

I thought Bartolo Colon was out of Bud Selig's Major League Baseball after the White Sox couldn't find him during his second tour of duty. Needless to say, Colon absolutely confused White Sox hitters all night and got the win for Joe Girardi's Yankees. It's supposed to be a tall order tonight vs. Yankee lefty C.C. Sabathia, but I'm not so sure they're playing. There's an 80% chance of rain forecast for New York today, and I saw plenty of green & yellow globs on the radar this morning.

If they get the game into tonight in the Bronx, the White Sox have only one left-handed hitter in their lineup vs. the Yankees' C.C. Sabathia in the finale of four. You'll notice a couple of noticeable changes tonight, weather permitting:

18 Brent "Why Didn't I Start Last Night?" Lillibridge LF
10 Alexei "Batting 2nd Might Not Be So Smart" Ramirez SS
20 Carlos "3 Hits" Quentin RF
14 Paul "1 Hit" Konerko 1B
32 Adam "Another Strikeout Last Night!" Dunn DH
51 Alex "Back to Reality" Rios CF
27 Ramon "A.J. Needs A Night Off" Castro C
15 Gordon "Pick to Click? Really?" Beckham 2B
22 Brent "Charlotte-Bound?" Morel 3B

Edwin "Dar Kommissar" Jackson is supposed to do the chucking for the White Sox, but it's raining in the Bronx at this time, says ESPNChicago.com's Doug Padilla.

I haven't laughed this hard at a post on The Chicago Sports Fan Message Board since that one time Eaglo Jeff made a crack about Tide laundry soap.
